Celebrate Recovery Global

🚨Real freedom is realizing you don't have to be who you used to be.

During the 2026 Celebrate Recovery Summit & Gathering, Mac Owen shared a powerful reminder about what freedom through Jesus Christ can look like:

“I am free not to be who I used to be. And that to me is real freedom.” — Mac Owen

Recovery doesn't mean our past never happened. It means our past no longer has to determine our future.

The old habits don't have to define us.
The old hurts don't have to control us.
The old choices don't have to become our identity.

And as Mac reminded us:

“Relapse does not have to be a part of recovery.”

Through Jesus Christ, change is possible. We can continue taking the next right step, one day at a time, allowing God to transform our hearts and our lives.

5:30 PM, followed by our large group meeting at 6:30 PM. After that, we have separate breakout groups for men and women.
