A New Day: Great is Thy Faithfulness

SCRIPTURE
It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness. Lamentations 3:22-23 KJV

Your eyes opened this morning. The sun has risen again. Your heart is still beating. Your lungs are inhaling fresh oxygen. You are here, you are alive, and your life has intrinsic value.

It's true.

But this fractured world tries to beat us down, which can feel all-consuming at times. Our relationships are far from perfect, our desires are bent toward selfishness, and sometimes the everyday grind can feel like too much.

Despite the messes…the disappointments…rebellion…unfaithfulness.
God steadfast love never changes. God still shows His endless mercy. God still lavishes His people with His constant faithfulness.

That is why they were not consumed. And that is why we still have hope.

If you've run from God, ignored His good design, disregarded His warnings, purposely rebelled against Him, or simply chose to forget His existence altogether, it's not too late to turn back.

God doesn't ignore those who come to Him. He doesn't dismiss those with a humble and repentant heart. He is patiently and faithfully waiting for those who will return to Him.

PRAYER
God, thank You for the mercy of a brand-new day. When the troubles of my heart feel endless—You are still faithful. When I am tired, overwhelmed, burnt out, or grieving—Your love still covers me. Thank You for showing me kindness every day. Your mercies are truly endless, and Your steadfast love endures forever. Great is Your faithfulness! In Jesus' name, Amen.

God Our Rock

SCRIPTURE
The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; My God, my strength, in whom I will trust; My buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Psalm 18:2 KJV

When we belong to God, He is a rock and a fortress for us. Everything in the world is constantly shifting, but we belong to a God who never changes. He is our protection from things that might seek to harm us.

We belong to a God who can protect us throughout our lives. Even if we don't have physical enemies, we can run to God when life gets difficult. That's why, like David, our response to God should be filled with praise. We need to remember what God has done—so we can praise Him for who He is.

BE ENCOURAGED
Despite the constant shift in this world, we serve a God that is immovable.

PRAYER
God, thank You for being my safe place. You're here for me no matter what I face, and I'm grateful I can always take refuge in You.
Today, help me to come before You humbly and honestly—with complete faith. Give me the courage to surrender my concerns, and to trust You with the results. I invite You to be my source of strength in every area of life. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Scripture
For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this;
Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
Galatians 5:14 KJV

Prayer
Our Father, forgive us for the way we
prioritize being right over being loving.
Help us to imitate Jesus, who taught us to love one another as he loved us. May we seek unity and walk in love. In Jesus' name, Amen.
