It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear brother, Milton Sessoms.

Today, Milton received the ultimate healing and entered the presence of his Savior, Jesus Christ. While our hearts ache because we will miss him here on earth, we also rejoice knowing that he is now completely free—free from pain, free from suffering, and home with the Lord.

Please join us in praying for Milton's family and friends. May God surround them with His love, grant them peace that surpasses all understanding, and comfort them during this difficult time.

"Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted." — Matthew 5:4

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who came out and supported our lunch fundraiser for Milton! We are truly thankful for the loving community God has blessed us with—a community that comes together to help one another in times of need.

Your generosity, kindness, and support are a beautiful reflection of Christ's love, and we are grateful for each and every one of you. May God bless you all abundantly!

🍽️ Donation-Based Lunch for Milton Sessoms ❤️

Please join us Sunday, July 12, immediately following the morning service (12pm) for a donation-based lunch to benefit Milton Sessoms.

Milton is a beloved member of Mill Creek Baptist Church and our community. During this difficult time, we'd like to come together to support him and his family in a meaningful way.

Every donation, big or small, will make a difference. Thank you for helping us show the love of Christ through your generosity.

VBS may be over, but the memories made and lessons learned will stay with us!
We had an amazing and successful week at VBS, and we'd love to celebrate with you at our Family Day!
Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM as we come together to worship and share all that God did during VBS. Our kids will even have the opportunity to share what they discovered throughout the week!
After the service, we'll enjoy a church potluck, so please bring your favorite dish to share with everyone.
To wrap up the celebration, we'll have a bounce house and water slide for the kids, so don't forget to bring a change of clothes!
We can't wait to see you and your family as we celebrate a wonderful week of learning that Jesus is the Light of the World and how we can go out and shine His light for others to see.

✨ What an amazing Night 2&3 at VBS! ✨

Our church has been filled with excitement, laughter, worship, and the truth of God's Word all week!

🌟 Night 2: We learned that Jesus is the Promised Savior—the One God promised long ago to rescue us.

❤️ Night 3: We learned that Jesus died for our sins, showing us the greatest love the world has ever known. Because of His sacrifice, we can have forgiveness and a relationship with God.

We're so thankful for every child, volunteer, and family who has been part of this incredible week. God is moving, and we can't wait to see what He has in store next!

If you haven't joined us yet, it's not too late! Come be a part of Illumination Station as we continue shining a light on who Jesus really is!

🌟 Night 1 was a success! 🌟

We had a full house tonight, but there's always room for more! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped make our first night of VBS such a wonderful experience.

Join us tomorrow night as we continue shining a light on who Jesus really is and learn even more about Him. Bring a friend, family member, neighbor, or anyone who would like to join us!

What better way to spend your week than soaking up the Word of God for five nights?

VBS is June 22–26 at 5:30 PM, with a meal served nightly.

VBS is such an important part of the church because it gives us a special opportunity to reach children and families in a way that regular services sometimes don’t.

VBS plants seeds of faith in children’s hearts. Kids get to hear about Jesus in a fun, simple, hands-on way through Bible lessons, songs, crafts, games, and friendships.

It also opens the door for families to come into the church. Some parents may not attend regularly, but they will bring their children to VBS. That gives the church a chance to love on the whole family.
VBS helps children build memories connected to God’s Word. Years later, they may not remember every craft or snack, but they may remember how they felt loved, welcomed, and taught about Jesus.
It also brings the church together. Adults, youth, teachers, kitchen workers, game leaders, decorators, and prayer warriors all work together as one body for one purpose: pointing people to Christ.

Most importantly, VBS is a ministry opportunity. It is not just “something for kids.” It is outreach, discipleship, revival, and service all wrapped into one week.

God can use one lesson, one song, one leader, or one simple moment to change a child’s life forever.
