Today we held Ray Mills funeral at St. Elizabeth’s. It was a wonderful service with committal to the Columbarium following. Thank you to Father Brian Chace and to Julie Mills, Phyllis Mills and the Mills family for such a wonderful remembrance and celebration of Ray. There were approximately 110 people in attendance.

Christmas is near! All are welcome to sing carols, hear Scripture, and share Holy Communion on Christmas Eve at 2pm. The Rev. Canon Nurya Love Parish will preach and lead our worship service.

Lord, it is your voice that calls each of us to play our part in the story of your church, for you have made us for your purpose of revealing love in a challenging time and in a divided world. Enlighten our hearts to know what things we ought to do. Enlighten our minds to know what things we need to leave behind. Enlighten our spirits to embrace a future none but you know. Give us peace, give us courage, give us hope. And give us perseverance to take the steps necessary to continue to follow your lead. Amen.

Please hold our dioceses in prayer today as we meet in a Special Joint Convention to determine whether we will walk forward together as one diocese. We pray safe travels for all making their way to Grand Blanc this morning.

We plan to stream twice today from St. Christopher's, Grand Blanc: for Holy Eucharist at 11 am and for our business meeting at 1:30 pm. The streams will originate on St. Christopher's, Grand Blanc's page and we will share them to the diocesan pages when live.
