Today, we pause to remember September 11, 2001.

Twenty-five years later, we continue to honor the lives lost on that tragic day and remember the heroes who selflessly ran toward danger to help others.

Today, we lift in prayer the families, loved ones, and communities who continue to carry the pain of that loss. May we never forget those who were taken from us, those who served, and the courage and compassion shown in the midst of tragedy.

“God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble.” Psalm 46:1

May we remember. May we pray. May we never forget.

You don’t have to know how the story ends to trust the One who does.

We crave certainty. We want God to tell us when things will change, how He’ll fix them, and where all of this is going.

Thomas wanted answers too. But Jesus didn't give him a roadmap.

He gave him Himself.

Maybe faith looks like being able to say:

I don’t know where this is going.
I don’t know when this will change.
I don’t know how this will turn out.
But I know who Jesus is.

That's how we can have an untroubled heart in a troubled life.

Whatever you're walking through today, you don't have to know how it ends to trust the One who does.

There will always be another task to finish, another box to check, and another thing competing for our attention. But in trying to do everything, we can become so busy that we miss what matters most.

Psalm 90:12 reminds us to ask God to teach us to use our time wisely.

Maybe success this week isn’t finishing the entire list. Maybe it’s making sure the most important things don’t disappear beneath the busyness.

You don’t have to do everything. Make time for what matters most.

What if it’s not bad luck… but a pattern?

The things we repeat tend to produce the same results. Some patterns move us toward the life God has for us. Others keep bringing us back to the same wall.

King Saul's story reminds us how dangerous an unhealthy pattern can become when we refuse to recognize it.

So take an honest look at your life:

What keeps repeating?

Ask God to help you see the pattern, break the pattern, build something new, and protect what you're building.

What we repeat is what we produce; changing our patterns can change our outcomes.

We’ve all got things we’re proud of - and things we’d rather hide. The questions, failures, and struggles we’re still working through.

But God doesn’t want a polished version of you. He wants you.

Surrender isn’t about being “good enough.” It’s bringing your whole self to God and discovering how deeply He loves you.

Still figuring out what you believe? Bring your questions. Bring yourself. There’s a place for you at Life Church.

You weren't meant to do this alone.

In Exodus 17, Joshua fought in the valley. Moses prayed on the mountain. And when Moses couldn't keep going, Aaron and Hur stepped in to hold up his arms.

Everyone had a different role, but everyone was needed.

The same is true of the Church. God has uniquely called each of us to play a part in His Kingdom.

So here's this week's challenge: What is God calling YOU to do?

Don't always wait for an invitation. See the need. Step in. Play your part. Together, we are the Body of Christ.

God always intended that you would not face life alone.

God created us for community with Him and one another from day one.

We need those who will be there to laugh with us on our happy days, walk alongside us on our sad days, pray for us when words fail, and love us enough to tell us who we are when we can’t remember.

Community isn’t just something we need when life falls apart. It’s part of how God created us to live.
