“Everyone else seems to feel something spiritual… except me.”
Ever felt that way in church?

Like everyone around you is having some deep emotional moment with God while you’re sitting there wondering:
“What am I missing?”

You’re not weird.
You’re not broken.
And you’re definitely not alone.

The truth is, even people in the Bible had seasons where they didn’t “feel” God’s presence. Psalm 88 is literally a prayer from someone saying:
“God, where are You?”

Faith was never meant to depend only on feelings.

Sometimes God’s presence is loud and emotional.
Sometimes it’s quiet and steady.
And sometimes faith means trusting He’s still there even when you don’t feel anything at all.

If you’re new to church, questioning faith, or trying to figure out who Jesus really is, know this:
You don’t have to fake it.
You don’t have to perform.
And you don’t have to have it all figured out.

God isn’t afraid of your questions.

Do you have peace in the middle of pressure?

If your answer is not always 'yes', here is some hope for you today!

John 14:27 says this: "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give you. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.'

God's peace is not the absence of the problems we face.
His peace is the presence in the middle of them.

When our circumstances aren't going our way or anxiety feels like it is creeping into our hearts, Jesus tells us to surrender.

Surrender our emotions. Surrender our circumstances. Surrender it all to the King of Kings.

When we do this, peace comes in. Our situations may stay the same, but God's peace in the middle of pressure will sustain us.

Be encouraged today, friends

“If God is good… why do bad things happen?”

Maybe you’ve asked that question before.
Maybe you’re asking it right now.

The truth is, Christianity never pretends pain isn’t real. Jesus never told people to ignore suffering, grief, loss, or heartbreak. In fact, some of the people who loved God the most still walked through unimaginable tragedy.

A young woman loses her life at 19.
A mother dies months later.
A father and son are left trying to pick up the pieces.

And even pastors - the people you think are supposed to “have all the answers” - sometimes sit in the middle of tragedy asking:
“God… I don’t understand this.”

But the story of Jesus is not a story about a God who stands far away from human suffering.

It’s the story of a God who stepped into it.

Jesus willingly took upon Himself pain, loss, betrayal, suffering, and death because He knew something greater was coming on the other side of it.

Sometimes healing comes after hurt.
Sometimes freedom comes after bo***ge.
Sometimes resurrection only comes after death.

If you’re hurting today, questioning faith, or trying to figure out where God is in all of this… you’re not alone.

And your questions don’t scare Him.
