For those who have followed my journey through my writing, music, and conversations over these past weeks, I wanted you to be among the first to know that I've been asked to serve and lead Rosanky Baptist Church during an important season in the life of the church. My first Sunday will be August 30th.

I'm looking forward to it.

Not simply because I get to preach every Sunday — although you know I love doing that! — but because I'm looking forward to becoming part of the life of this church and this community.

We're going to begin with a series I've called: FORWARD TOGETHER - Becoming the Church God Has Called Us to Be.

I like those two words — Forward Together.

Not forgetting where we've been.
Not pretending we have everything figured out.
Not one person trying to drag everybody else somewhere.

But seeking God, loving people, and discovering together what
God has for the days ahead.

And here's something especially for those of you who have been reading some of my ramblings on Facebook these last few weeks: Maybe you don't have a church home. Maybe it's been a long time since you've been inside a church. Maybe church hasn't always been a particularly good experience for you. Or maybe you're simply curious about what's happening at that Baptist church in Rosanky.

You've already got a friend there.

I'd love to see you.

🎆July 4 - Community Fireworks Celebration beginning at 6:00 PM featuring water slides, free hot dogs & lemonade, Jeremiah's Italian Ice, popcorn, roasted corn, pulled pork sandwiches, chocolate-covered strawberries, and a spectacular fireworks show at sundown!
🎤 July 5 – Guest Preacher: Lane Hirsch
🎶 July 12 – Special Gospel Quartet Concert
🎨 July 18 – Ladies Art Fellowship
🎤 July 19 – Guest Preacher: 10AM
🍗 July 26 – Guest Preacher: 10AM followed by a Community Lunch After Service

Come Spend Your Summer at Rosanky Baptist Church

There's just something special about summertime in the country—good neighbors, sweet fellowship, and gathering together to worship the Lord. We'd love to invite our friends, neighbors, visitors, and church family to be part of everything happening this summer at Rosanky Baptist Church.
