Meet Davis Laughlin - With over 40 years in the classroom, having taught all ages – from elementary grades through adult graduate school courses, Davis Laughlin has extensive experience in the teaching and learning process. When he was twenty-four years old, Laughlin trusted in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and began a lifelong journey of faith. Now, in year twenty-five as the pastor of the

Flint Hills Church of Faith in Rosalia, Laughlin’s teaching experience is a great asset to his ministry there. Laughlin is a long-time coach of many sports and is currently the assistant coach with the Flinthills High School girls’ basketball team. Laughlin spent ten years presenting educational insight and motivation in schools throughout Kansas. His two books, Ripple Maker – Teaching Effectively and Loving It, and For Everything There is a Season, have been well-received by many readers. Laughlin is married to his high school sweetheart and together they have two daughters and three grandchildren. Laughlin and his wife, Donna, moved to Benton in 1979 and built a home there in 1988 where they live today.
