Trust and Obey was our final message yesterday from Pastor Davy Costa. We enjoyed a special performance of How Great Thou Art by his daughter, Rebecca. We had a great Sunday message, fellowship and food. Thank you Pastor Davy and Rebecca.

Today's Message:
Let us plan ahead for the New Year just as Moses planned ahead to enter the Promised Land. Deuteronomy records four messages explaining how God's people can reach God's goals. God has delivered us from slavery in Egypt. Remembering our history will sharpen our aim to where God is leading us. The word "diligently " in Dt 6:7 comes from the arrow-making business meaning "to sharpen" (Theological Wordbook of the Old Testament #2422). So when leaving the quiver, our sons fly straight and love God with heart, soul & might. May all of us "hit the target" each day of the New Year. Deuteronomy was given that we might "love God back". May we at Faith Baptist Church "love God back " and love our neighbor each day of 2022. And just who is our neighbor? Read Luke 10.
