A Great Opportunity To Experience Culture!
This summer’s “From Sea to Shining Sea: 250 Years of Sound” Music in the Market program commemorates the country’s semiquincentennial by tracing the rich history of American music through the ages. 🎶
We welcome our second group of the season, Michigan Pualani Polynesian Dancers, July 18-19. From the teachings of Kumu’s “Auntie” Kau’ihealani Mahikoa Brandt and Vicki Stevens, this Michigan-based Polynesian group performs various traditional and inspired dances from multiple Polynesian cultures, including hula and Tahitian.
🌊 Guests are invited to enjoy a wave of music and dance that explores cultures from all around the South Pacific. Performances will be held from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on both dates.
Access to the performances is free for members or included with village admission. Learn more about our Music in the Market program at THF.org/musicinthemarket.
