In God will I praise his word; in the Lord will I praise his word. In God have I put my trust; I will not be afraid what man can do unto me.
( Psalm 56:10-11 KJV).

Your instruction keeps me on the right path,
and for that I praise You.

Thank You for giving me Your Holy Word to have and to hold.

With Your Word, I can speak to You and You can speak to me.

You are the Great Communicator of my life.

I trust in Your Word, for when I am armed with it,
I have no fear.

- Anchoring in God's Promises: David chooses to celebrate and trust what God has spoken, rather than focusing on the danger around him.

- The Power of Repetition: Repeating the phrase
(" in God... in the Lord...")
Emphasizes certainty, and unwavering confidence.
It reinforces praise as an active choice rather than a feeling.

- Using Both Names: The verse uses two names for God.- Elohim ( God, showing strength and creator power)
and YHWH/Jehovah- ( Lord, showing personal, covenant-keeping love).

" When I am afraid, I put my trust in you ".
( Psalm 56:3).

Speak Truth in Anxiety: You can intentionally lean on God's promises instead of your circumstances.

Turn Worry into Worship: Vocalizing gratitude and remembering what God has said helps quiet anxious thoughts and builds courage.

Trust, Courage, and Faith.

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
( 1 Corinthians 1:18 NIV).

Lord, I thank You for the wisdom to know the truth.

People who do not know You think that the message of the cross, Jesus dying for the forgiveness of our sins, is foolishness.

Truly, it is the power of God, and it saves us.

Your power is amazing; there is no one like You.
No one else can bring the dead back to life, perform miracles, and change lives like mine.

Please help other people to know the power of the cross too.

Lord, when the world looks at the cross and sees weakness or foolishness, open our eyes Your true,
life- transforming power.

Give us the boldness, humility, and courage to share Your Gospel without fear of rejection.

Keep our eyes fixed on You, trusting in Your wisdom above all earthly understanding.

Not so with you. Instead, whoever wants to become great among you must be your servant.
( Matthew 20:26 NIV).

Heavenly Father, I want to understand how to become a leader.

Jesus led by serving others.

He freely gave of Himself to show us the way to truth.

Teach me what it takes to lead as I begin by following You and the leaders You placed in my life.

Give me a heart to serve and the patience to not take shortcuts in the lessons You want me to learn.

- Contrasting Leadership: Jesus contrasts worldly leaders who lord power over people, with the servant hearts required in His kingdom.

- True Greatness: True status comes from humility and helping others, not from seeking status or control.

- The Example: Jesus finishes His teaching by explaining that He came to serve others and give
His life as a ransom.

Train up a child in the way he shall go;
even when he is old he will not depart from it.
(Proverbs 22:6 ESV).

Heavenly Father, thank You for placing me in this position of leadership.

I know that true strength and wisdom do not come from myself, but from You.

Keep me humble, protect me from pride, and teach me to serve others with compassion, rather than seeking power.

When the path is unclear,
be my guide and my peace.

In Jesus's name, Amen.

How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, cleanse your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?
( Hebrews 9:14 NKJV).

God, I want to be passionate about the purpose You have for me.

Show me the things in my life that please You, and give me the courage and strength to pursue those things.

Keep my purpose before me, fill my heart, and give me right motives to accomplish all You have set before me.

As long as You are with me and my focus is on what pleases You, I cannot fail.

Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible sacrifice of Jesus, who offered Himself without blemish through the eternal Spirit to secure my salvation fill me with Your grace so I can walk in newest of life, free from fear and condemnation.

Let the cleansing power of Christ's blood enable me to serve You, the living and true God, with a pure and willing heart for the rest of my days.

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body, more than clothes?"
For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.
( Matthew 6:25, 32 NIV).

Jesus's teachings on anxiety and trusting God to provide for daily needs such as food and clothing.

Your Word says I'm not to worry about my life,
but that seems to be all that I do.

I wonder how I'm going to pay all these bills.

How did I get into such a mess?

Get me back on the right track, Lord.

Help me to get out of debt and stay out.

Help me to not worry about where the next dollar
is coming from but to put all my trust in You.

You know all that I need.

Please Lord, provide for me and mine.

Heavenly Father, I come to You laying down my worries about food, clothing, and the needs of tomorrow.

Help me to seek Your kingdom and Your righteousness first, believing that You already know what I need and will provide.

Give me the grace to release tomorrow's troubles and live fully in the peace of today, knowing You hold my future in Your hands.

In Jesus's name. Amen.

Worrying does not change anything or add a single hour to a person's life.

My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak
and slow to become angry.
( James 1:19 NIV).

When I bring up past deeds,
I start the cycle of pain all over again.

Why do I do that, Lord?

Please stop me!

Help me to hold my tongue,
to think before I speak.

Change my thoughts to those of Christ.

Help me to think of the good things, the good times,
I have shared with my offenders.

And if there weren't any good times, remind me that You love them just as much as You love me.

Help me to put their need for forgiveness above my pride.

Give me Your power to live this life and be the person You want me to be.

* Pause before replying:
Give yourself a moment to process what is being said rather than reacting out of frustration.

* Weigh your words:
Ask yourself if what you are about to say is kind,
true, and necessary.

* Pray for self-control:
Ask God daily to help you manage your speech and use your words to encourage others.

Loving Heavenly Father, thank You for Your Word and the wise instructions it contains.

I know that having a quick temper and easily becoming angry.

Give me a heart that is quick to listen.

Help me seek to understand others before I try to defend myself or rush to a conclusion.

Shape my heart to reflect Jesus.
In His name I pray. Amen.

Encouraging comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God who calls you into his kingdom and glory.
( 1 Thessalonians 2:12 NIV).

Dear Lord, this is my true calling:
walking worthily into Your kingdom and glory.

My vocational calling is but a reflection of Your highest priority.

May You order my steps in such a way as to be worthy of Your calling, spiritually and professionally.

Help me, Father, to show Your life within me to the world outside.

May it be clear to those around me that You are the Lord of my life.

- Walk in a manner worthy of God:
"To walk " means your daily way of living or course of life. Your life should fit a match of the Holy character of the God who saved you.

- Who calls you:
God's call is an active, on going invitation to live for Him in the present.

- Into His own kingdom and glory:
This refers to living under God's current rule, while looking forward to sharing in His future, honor and eternal presence.

This is our real calling.

He must become greater: I must become less.
( John 3:30 NIV).

Father, help me to know what is important.

I know that growing in my relationship with You is first, so I need Your help in staying, true to that commitment.

Second, I need Your help in valuing the relationships You bring into my life and caring for them with the power of Your love.

Please tap me on the shoulder and remind me when I'm becoming too busy.

I don't want to miss the most important priorities in life.

So I surrender control .

More of You, Lord.
Less of me.

Thank You for sending Jesus to be the Savior of the world.

Lord, I confess that I often want attention,
praise, and my own way.

Forgive me for my pride and my desire to promote myself. Amen.

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.
( 2 Corinthians 10:5 NIV).

God, it seems like I need a reminder every moment of the day to listen to Your Voice.

I keep getting caught up in the world of busyness,
and that's not where You want me to be.

Help me not to be overwhelmed by the demands of this society but to be open to Your voice.

I want to hear You speak to me all throughout the day.

I want to do only what You want me to do each moment.

Remind me to take each thought captive to Christ so that I am not misled, going somewhere or doing something that is not of You.

Heavenly Father, help me to recognize thoughts and lies that go against Your truth.

Give me the strength to tear down pride, fear, and doubt, and bring every thought captive into the obedience of Jesus Christ.
Amen.

The tongue has the power of life and death,
and those who love it will eat its fruit.
( Proverbs 18:21 NIV).

My words are powerful.

Set a guard over my mouth, Lord;
keep watch over the door of my lips.
( Psalm 141:13 NIV).

They can add to or take away from someone's life.

I want to be a positive influence in the lives of those around me.

I want to encourage them with Your goodness and love.

I want to be truthful, and sometimes it's hard to say certain things, but I'm asking You to help me speak the truth in love.

For those I have hurt with my words, help me to take responsibility, apologize, and set things right with them.

Lord, put a guard over my mouth so I speak Your words in love.

Lord, I confess that my words, sometimes fall short.

Forgive me for the times I have spoken in frustration, judgment, or anger; and used my mouth to tear down instead of build up.

Today I choose to use my words to spread grace.

Anoint my tongue to speak healing, encouragement, and truth.

Let my speech be a reflection of Your loving heart, bringing light, hope, and life to everyone I encounter today.

In Jesus' name, Amen.
