What do we believe—and more importantly, why do we believe it?

This past Sunday, Pastor Nathan kicked off our new series by examining the meaning and purpose of Baptism.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll tackle important and sometimes controversial topics, including divorce and remarriage, church discipline, & church membership. 😊

These aren’t always easy questions, but as followers of Christ, our ultimate authority isn’t what society says, what tradition says, or even what we personally feel.

Our question is: What does the Bible say?

Join us on Sunday, July 19th from 5:00–6:30PM as we host the Hartwick family at Bible Baptist Church for a special evening to learn about Lost & Found Refuge and Farm, a ministry serving children in the Philippines who have survived online sexual exploitation.

You’ll have the opportunity to hear about the tremendous need, learn how God is working through this ministry, and discover practical ways you can pray, give, and partner with them.

🇺🇸 Happy Independence Day! 🇺🇸

As we celebrate the 4th of July and 250 years of America, we’re thankful for God’s many blessings on our nation. We are especially grateful for the men and women who have faithfully served and sacrificed to protect the freedoms we enjoy.

As you spend time with family and friends this weekend, let’s also remember to pray for our nation and our leaders, asking God to give them wisdom and to guide our country according to His will.

Most of all, we’re thankful for the greatest freedom of all—the freedom we have through Jesus Christ.

“Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, the people whom he has chosen as his heritage!” — Psalm 33:12

When God seems to delay, He hasn’t forgotten you.

In this Sunday’s message from John 11:1–16, Pastor Nathan reminded us that God always hears the prayers of His children, but He doesn’t always answer according to our timetable. His delays are never without purpose. Even when we cannot see what He is doing, we can trust that He is working for His glory and for our good.

You’re invited this Wednesday evening at Bible Baptist Church as we kick off an exciting 8-week journey through The Life of Joseph!

Pastor Nathan will be teaching through Genesis as we discover God’s providence, faithfulness, and purpose in every season of life. Joseph’s story is a powerful reminder that even when we can’t see it, God is always at work.

We’ll also be using “The Hand of God” by Alistair Begg as a helpful companion resource throughout the study.
