A great Sunday morning at RAC! 🙌

Today we had the joy of hearing from our new pastor, Rev. Jon Schink, as he brought the first message in our new series, “The Deeper Life,” from 1 John.

As we begin this new season together, we’re excited to see where God leads us as we grow deeper in our relationship with Him and live out what it means to follow Jesus.

WELCOME, PASTOR JON! 👋

We’re excited to officially introduce Rev. Jon Schink as the new Lead Pastor of Rome Alliance Church!

Jon and his wife, Nicole, are coming to us from the Southern Tier of New York, where they’ve called Wellsville home. They have three sons and we’re so grateful that God has led their family to Rome. Throughout his ministry, Jon says, “My greatest passion has been helping people grow deeper in their relationship with Jesus.” He believes the role of a pastor is to faithfully preach God’s Word, shepherd God’s people, equip leaders, and keep the church focused on Christ’s mission. These are priorities that have been central to his ministry throughout the years.

As Jon and his family begin this new chapter, he’s especially looking forward to getting to know everyone, serving alongside the church family, and getting to know Rome and the surrounding towns. A few fun facts about Jon: he loves golf, being outdoors, and playing board games with friends. Feel free to challenge him to a round or a game sometime!

Jon and Nicole are especially thankful for God’s leading and for the prayers of so many people for their family throughout this transition.

Jon will be preaching his first Sunday as Lead Pastor on Sunday, October 4th. We’d love for you to join us, meet the Schink family, and hear Jon share God’s Word with us!

We’re excited to see how God uses Jon and his family at our church and throughout our community, and we’re looking forward to all that the Lord has ahead as we continue to live Up, In, & Out!
