There has been much discussion regarding the beauty of Rome Cemetery. They say beauty is in the eyes of the beholder. To us, nothing is more beautiful than the various wildlife and fowl that visit the cemetery - such as this bird seen early this morning by the pond.

Any guesses as to what it is?

As we prepare to celebrate America's 250th Birthday - what better way to remember those who fought so we can celebrate, than with a wreath to be placed on their graves during Wreaths Across America in December.

Did you know there are over 1,500 veterans from all wars buried here?

To sponsor a wreath, go to: www.wreathsacrossamerica.org and search for Rome Cemetery.

Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, our mission to Remember, Honor and Teach is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington National Cemetery, as well as over 5,500 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea, and abroad. Help us by sponsoring Veterans....

We have a sprinkler running on the front lawn of the office area to water the newly planted grass and these guys were enjoying the shower. :) Not sure what kind they are.

Periodically, we upgrade the cemetery maintenance equipment to enable our staff to continue to keep the grounds looking nice in the most efficient way possible. Doing this means we have equipment we no longer use and make available for sale. The equipment is still usable.

Currently we have 2 Bad Boy Zero turn mowers for sale. We are asking $1,500 for each mower. These were over $3,500 new.

If you are interested or know someone who might be, please reach out. They will be sold on a first come, first pay basis.
