Let me share my witness: I have prayed and had my prayers answered. I was not speaking into a void, but entering into a relationship with a higher presence, the one I call Spirit. I do not share this truth to convert anyone, but I bear witness to it because I believe there are many in this world today who wonder if there is a Spirit in their lives, if prayer actually works, and if they can be in a relationship with the sacred. The answer is, yes, and I know there are many of you who could give your own testimony, as I have now given mine.
