As I was meditating on yesterday’s message from II Corinthians 8:3-4 there were so many thoughts that ran through my mind. I looked up other verses on fellowship. These three came off the page:
I John 1:3 We proclaim to you what we have seen and heard, so that you also may have FELLOWSHIP with us. And our FELLOWSHIP is with the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ.
Philippians 1:4-5 always in every prayer of mine making request for you all with joy, 5 for your FELLOWSHIP in the gospel from the first day until now,
Acts 2:42 They were continually and faithfully devoting themselves to the instruction of the apostles, and to FELLOWSHIP, to eating meals together and to prayers. FELLOWSHIPPING with each other, with the Trinity, in the gospel and breaking bread together.
Now I don’t know about you but each one of these topics for Small Groups that are being presented at this time truly speaks to the church for such a time as this. Glancing through each one there it was: FELLOWSHIP. Growing together with each other, with the Father, Son, Holy Spirit, through communicating in God’s Word, praying together, sharing from our hearts, eating together. but most of all, devoting ourselves to becoming more like Jesus. In other words: BE THE CHURCH, THE LIGHT OF JESUS TO SHINE that others might come into the Kingdom of God.
Ephesians 5:16 “making the very most of your time [on earth, recognizing and taking advantage of each opportunity and using it with wisdom and diligence], because the days are [filled with] evil.” (AMP)

This is a BIG thank you from my heart to yours. I appreciate all the cards, calls, texts, and visits during these past three weeks. Just saying thank you doesn’t seem like enough but it is a heartfelt thank you. I have gained at least 5 pounds from all the good and delicious food that has been brought to us. Trying to eat with my left hand certainly didn’t stop me from enjoying every bite. Every prayer has been truly felt. I have started physical therapy so will still need them. I want to give a giant shout out for my husband who has waited on me hand and foot. We have had many a laugh from showering to putting on support hose. That’s all I will say about that.
God has been faithful through it all. Hebrews 13:1 (NIV) “Keep on loving one another as brothers and sisters.” (MSG) “ Stay on good terms with each other, held together by love. Be ready with a meal or a bed when it’s needed.”
Love you in the love of Jesus our Savior.

Good Morning,
There is nothing more powerful than God’s Word. I am sure you have many devotions that you read but reading His Word is just like listening to His voice speak to us individually. I believe this Word is speaking to each one of us today.
Ephesians 2:16-22 (MSG) Christ brought us together through his death on the cross. The Cross got us to embrace, and that was the end of the hostility. Christ came and preached peace to you outsiders and peace to us insiders. He treated us as equals, and so made us equals. Through him we both share the same Spirit and have equal access to the Father. That’s plain enough, isn’t it? You’re no longer wandering exiles. This kingdom of faith is now your home country. You’re no longer strangers or outsiders. You belong here, with as much right to the name Christian as anyone. God is building a home. He’s using us all—irrespective of how we got here—in what he is building. He used the apostles and prophets for the foundation. Now he’s using you, fitting you in brick by brick, stone by stone, with Christ Jesus as the cornerstone that holds all the parts together. We see it taking shape day after day—a holy temple built by God, all of us built into it, a temple in which God is quite at home.”
Here is verse 22 from the AMP “In Him [and in fellowship with one another] you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.”
We can experience His fellowship with each other through His Word today.
Love each one of you

As I typed February 2 it made me realize how quickly our lives can slip by before we realize it. I am 77 or as a child would say 77 and a half. Just seems like yesterday or maybe last week that I was playing with my children, reading them stories and tucking them in bed. But we know life goes on.
I am reminded of several scriptures from God’s Word that tells us to keep our eyes are the prize before us. Philippians 3: 14 “I press on toward the goal to win the [heavenly] prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.” I John 17 The world is passing away, and with it its lusts [the shameful pursuits and ungodly longings]; but the one who does the will of God and carries out His purposes lives forever. Exodus 15:25b “ I AM THE LORD THAT HEALS YOU.” The word LORD here is Jehovah, the Lord, the eternal self existent ONE. The word for heal is properly to mend (by stitching), that is, (figuratively) to cure: - cure, (cause to) heal, physician, repair, thoroughly, make whole.
Today we have several that have notified me of things that are going on in the lives of the family of God that need God to intervene in His divine healing. I am asking you to be in prayer over these, believing for God’s healing. Look again at the meaning of the word-healing-.
Patricia Toles’s grandson dizzy spells with headaches
Lynda Lumpkin’s family death of James Gribble, her brother
Tina Gallant healing in body
Several unspoken God will hear and move
Ben Wood Healing in knee
Many in fear of covid Pray for safety. HE is our refuge, our strong tower
Of safe keeping
Myself Shoulder replacement Tuesday the 9th
All on this list For God to meet every need according to His covenant promises
Pray with faith believing Psalm 103:1-6 “O my soul, bless GOD. From head to toe, I’ll bless his holy name! O my soul, bless GOD, don’t forget a single blessing! He forgives your sins—every one. He heals your diseases—every one. He redeems you from hell—saves your life! He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown. He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal. He renews your youth—you’re always young in His presence. GOD makes everything come out right; He puts victims back on their feet.” (MESSAGE)
This is a little long, but please take the time to read and declare His Word over the needs of His people, your friends and family.
From my heart to your heart with the love of Jesus.

Good Morning,
There are so many songs to be sung during this Christmas season. I have found myself singing this little chorus.
Isn’t HE wonderful , wonderful, wonderful, isn’t JESUS my LORD my wonderful.
Eyes have seen, ears have heard, tis recorded in GOD’S WORD.
Isn’t JESUS my LORD wonderful.
This is one of the NAMES in Isaiah 9 that describes our wonderful LORD. Here are two Hebrew and Greek words describing HIS NAME “wonderful”. pele' a miracle: - marvelous thing, wonder (-ful, -fully). pâlâ' distinguish (literally or figuratively); by implication to be (causatively make) great, difficult, wonderful: - accomplish, (arise . . . too, be too) hard, hidden, things too high, (be, do, do a, shew) marvelous (-ly, -els, things, work), miracles, perform, separate, make singular, (be, great, make) wonderful (-ers, -ly, things, works), wondrous (things, works, -ly).
(Matthew Henry’s Commentary) Justly is he called Wonderful, for he is both GOD and man. HIS love is the wonder of angels and glorified saints.
Isaiah 25:1 “LORD, you are my God; I will exalt you and praise your name, for in perfect faithfulness you have done WONDERFUL things, things planned long ago.”
Psalm 111:4 “He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.”
Matthew 21:15 “The leading priests and the teachers of religious law saw these wonderful miracles and heard even the children in the Temple shouting, “Praise God for the Son of David.” But the leaders were indignant.”
So many more scriptures describing the Wonderful (wonders and wondrous) Christ Child our SAVIOR. In Psalm 107 it is used 4 times. “Oh that men would praise the LORD and HIS goodness and for HIS wonderful works to the HIS children.
(John Gill’s exposition) “Christ is wonderful, in all he is, has, or belong unto him; in his person, offices, and relations; in his people, who are for signs and wonders; in his doctrines and ordinances; and in the manifestations of himself and of his grace to his people, now and hereafter; nay, the word signifies not only "WONDERFUL", but a "miracle" itself, as CHRIST is in his person.”
Yes HE is, Yes HE is, Yes HE is WONDERFUL
My eyes have seen and my ears have heard from GOD’S WORD
JESUS my LORD is WONDERFUL.
Today may we all celebrate HIS WONDERFUL NAME!

THANKING GOD FOR EACH ONE OF YOU.
Good Morning,
What a great day to connect with friends and friends. “This is the day that the Lord has made and we will be glad, with rejoicing and praise, in it.”
Thursday has been declared a day of Thanksgiving. But I would say we can declare everyday a day, a day to give thanks. Many would say not this year, but just because we have seen and experienced so much “stuff” going on, not only in our nation but around the world, we still have a Heavenly Father that loves us and is watching over us. Out of that love He sent us our salvation through His Son, our Savior, Jesus Christ and then sent us His Holy Spirit. Praise to a loving and caring Abba Father.
Psalm 105; 1-5 “Go ahead and give God thanks for all the glorious things He has done! Go ahead and worship Him! Tell everyone about His wonders! 2 Let’s sing His praises! Sing, and put all of His miracles to music! Shine and make your joyful boast in Him, you lovers of God. Let’s be happy and keep rejoicing no matter what. 4 Seek more of His strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of His face. 5 Don’t you ever forget His miracles and marvels. Hold to your heart every judgment He has decreed” (TPT )
“O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon His name: make known His deeds among the people. 2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto Him: talk ye of all his wondrous works.
3 Glory ye in His holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. 4 Seek the LORD, and His strength: seek His face evermore. 5 Remember His marvelous works that He hath done; His wonders, and the judgments of His mouth.” (KJV)
These verses tell us how we are to give thanks for ALL GOD has done for us. As you read these two versions concentrate on these words: GIVE THANKS; SING UNTO HIM; GLORY IN HIS NAME; SEEK HIS FACE; and REMEMBER EVERYTHING HE HAS DONE.
This is a lesson that could continue on with many more words. So today may we let the Holy Spirit not only teach us the message in these Words but to help us speak them out, live daily in them and continue to worship Him with our whole hearts.
As we gather this week with family and friends around a table of delicious foods here are two songs that we can sing together. I have only pulled out a few of the words. Get you song books and SING.
We gather together to ask the Lord's blessing; Beside us to guide us, our God with us joining, ordaining, maintaining his kingdom divine; Sing praises to his name, he forgets not his own.
When upon life’s billows you are tempest-tossed, When you are discouraged, thinking all is lost, Count your many blessings, name them one by one, And it will surprise you what the Lord has done.
So, amid the conflict whether great or small, Do not be discouraged, God is over all; Count your many blessings, angels will attend, Help and comfort give you to your journey’s end.
Count your blessings, name them one by one, Count your blessings, see what God has done! Count your blessings, name them one by one, *Count your many blessings, see what God has done
To God Be The Glory Forever And Forever!

As I listened to several sermons Sunday, including my own pastor, it was amazing how the Spirit seemed to proclaiming the same message. Being built up, being changed, grow, and being transformed by the Word of God.
Have you ever thought about the Word of God, the Bible, literally growing on the inside of you? When I think back of my childhood days, I am so thankful for being raised in a family and church that taught the Word of God was and is a Living Word. Especially blessed today, at my age, to be a member of a church that teaches and preaches the Living Word of God.
Luke 8:11 “Here, then, is the deeper meaning to my parable: The Word of God is the seed that is sown into hearts.” (TPT) “Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the WORD OF GOD, which LIVES and abides forever.” There is so much that can be said about the seed being the Word of God.
What does a seed do? When it is planted in good soil it will grow. This is exactly what our Father wants to do with the seed of His Word that is planted in our hearts.
When we think in the natural we know that when a seed is planted it needs much watering, fertilizing, guarding to keeping the weeds out, and a daily tending.
In the spiritual it is the same. To make God’s Word grow in us we must tend daily to it. Dig deep all around it to find the hidden meanings and truths. This will allow the seed to grow in our spirits. Make sure the pages are well aired as we open them up and turn each one to allow the light of God’s Word to be illuminated in us. As we think of watering God’s Word two ways come to my mind immediately: 1. Our tears. Tears of repentance, tears of joy, and tears praying for the lost. 2. Pouring out the Living Water of God’s Word by SHARING it with others.
Today may we all agree with His Word from II Peter 3:18 :But grow (continue to grow) in grace and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To HIM be glory both now and forever. Amen.”
Continuing to grow we can be assured of Psalm 119: 105 “Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of His Word makes my pathway clear.” (TPT

This morning I watched FREEDOM SUNDAY 2020 on DayStar. It is filled with powerful speakers talking about how important it is that we understand what really is at stake in this election. Many people (Christians included) do not grasp what is at risk for the freedom of our nation. Our freedom to worship, keeping churches open, freedom of speech and freedom to say JESUS CHRIST IS LORD OF LORDS AND KING OF KINGS without being criticized or given a citation, or even jailed.
This website freedomsunday2020.com is a must watch. Take the time to hear from a doctor, a lawyer, several preachers, and bishops the true facts of just how important this election is for each one of us.
It is a fact when the houses of Worship were shut down lawlessness began to run rampant.
It is a fact that those in the media are spurring out fear.
It is a fact that the enemy of our souls is working hard at keeping a spirit of fear alive throughout our land.
It is a fact that the truth is this: II Timothy 1: 7 “God has not given us the spirit of fear but of LOVE, POWER AND A SOUND MIND.”
It is a fact that we the church, that stand on the WORD OF GOD, believers in the Son of God, our Savior, the Messiah, the LORD JESUS CHRIST, are the ones who declare hope and peace for America by living out the Biblical principles of God’s Word and showing the love of God.

...DON'T FORGET TO TURN YOUR CLOCKS BACK SATURDAY...

10/30/2020

Good morning,
Joel 1:14 “Sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly….”
Joel 2:15 “Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly”
Starting this evening until midnight Tuesday I am asking any who will join in fasting and prayer for:
• Protection over the workers at the poles
• Machines to work properly
• Patience with those waiting in line
• All ballots to be counted correctly
• No violation in the streets
• God’s will to be done
We are called to be prayer warriors.
I Timothy 2:1-3 “First of all, then, I urge that petitions (specific requests), prayers, intercessions (prayers for others) and thanksgivings be offered on behalf of all people, for kings and all who are in [positions of] high authority, so that we may live a peaceful and quiet life in all godliness and dignity. This [kind of praying] is good and acceptable and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior,”
Daniel 9:18b -19 (NiV) “We do not make requests of You because we are righteous, but because of Your great mercy. Lord, listen! Lord, forgive! Lord, hear and act! For Your sake, my God, do not delay, because Your city and Your people bear Your Name.”
And we add for America who was founded on YOUR NAME.
ALL GOD’S PEOPLE SAY TO GOD BE THE GLORY
AMEN AND AMEN.

Oh how I miss each one of you. This little connect time doesn’t come close to spending time in fellowship and His Word with you. But I am thankful that His Word is still alive in us to keep us spiritually close. Love you all.

In less than two weeks we will elect the President of the United States of America. I don’t believe there has ever been a more critical time for our Nation or for the Nation of Israel. Two scriptures come to mind. Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.” The wide gate and broad way is the road of our enemy, the deceiver. How interesting that Jesus begins and ends with the narrow gate. It is as if He is saying “verily, verily, I say to you this is the only way to life with Me, which is eternal life.” Living our lives on this narrow way we must take His Word as Truth. There can be no turning to the left or right or it. Just like when satan tried to deceive Jesus, we must stand firmly on His Word. In my pastor’s sermon the other Sunday, he made this statement “God has called us to be counter-cultural.”
The second scripture is from Ezekiel 3:17 “Son of man, I have made you a watchman for the people of Israel; so hear the word I speak and give them warning from Me.” This certainly is a word for us today. God has put in place watchman to declare right from wrong, light from darkness, and good from evil according to His Holy Word. I believe that every born again believer is called to be a watchman. Jesus told His disciples “YOU WILL BE MY WITNESSES”. As His witnesses we are to declare the Word of the Lord, which is the whole Truth.
