This session introduces the concept of Unreached People
Groups (UPGs)—ethnic or cultural groups with little to no access
to the gospel and no viable local church movement.
Participants will learn how UPGS are defined, why language
and culture play a crucial role in evangelism, and what barriers
often prevent the spread of the gospel. The session will also
explore the biblical basis for reaching the nations and highlight
practical ways individuals and churches can pray for, support,
and engage in global missions among the unreached. Ideal for
anyone wanting a clearer picture of where the gospel is still
needed most and how they can be involved.

David Ogden, serves the CEO of KAN Mission & Minister of Missions at Woodlawn Baptist Church. "Theologically Sound Worship Leadership"
In this session, we will learn what scripture says about worship
leadership and how to apply that in an effective way to our
own ministry contexts. We will develop a basic understanding
of God's views on worship and how we can align ourselves with
his plan and purpose for worship in the church.

Bryan McDonald serves as the Director of Choral Activities and
Coordinator of Music and Worship Leadership at Shorter
University. Before coming to Shorter University, he served as adjunct music professor at New Orleans Baptist Theological Seminary teaching in the areas of worship, conducting, and voice. His conducting experience includes his appointment as
Associate Conductor of Southwestern Master Chorale, the
sitting Chorus for the Fort Worth Symphony. Dr. McDonald
also held the position of Worship Pastor of Woodland Park
Baptist Church in Hammond, Louisiana for seven years
prior to coming to Shorter.

students. Rome/Floyd County is blessed to have several
colleges so the mission field has come to us. In this session
you’ll hear how your church can be directly involved in the
weekly on-going ministries on local campuses plus you’ll get
ideas on how to strengthen your church’s ministry with college
students.

Porter Johnson is the Education and College Pastor at
Sherwood Rome. He has been serving in college ministry

You ask most men how they are doing, the answer is usually “fine” or “good.” But you know what lies beneath is a much deeper answer. Join us as we unpack some practical tools to engage the men in your church in fighting the good fight of faith. This session is designed for pastors, leaders of men’s ministry, men’s small group leaders and/or those interested in men's ministry.

Dr. George Dempsey and Jason Carr serve as the co-leaders for the Good Fight Collective. George has served in the fields of education and ministry for 40 years. George has mentored many men and students in his roles of Principal, Head of School, Associate Dean of the School of Ministry, and Christian Camp Director. Jason is a 30-year ministry veteran working with para church ministries and churches. Leading generations of small
groups, volunteers and serving churches and organizations
are marks of his ministry.
