"I Think God’s Calling Me into Vocational Ministry"
This session is targeted to high school and college students that sense that God may be calling them into ministry. With that said it is also open to anyone of any age that is struggling with God's call into ministry. In this session you’ll learn that being called by God into ministry is a profound, often irresistible, sense of divine purpose to devote one's life to vocational service in the church or the world. It typically involves a deep, inward compulsion to preach, teach, or care for others, affirmed by external confirmation from the community, and marked by a passion for the Gospel.

Chris Trent serves as the NextGen Catalyst for the Georgia Baptist Mission Board. Before coming to the GBMB, he served as

co-host of the Longer Haul Youth Ministry Podcast and
author of Consider This: A Youth Minister’s Guide to
Longevity. Chris' experience and ability to connect with an
audience makes him one of the most sought after
communicators in the nation.
