As the season of Holy Week kicks off tomorrow, I reflect on the Jewish Passover Seder Song of Dayenu. Perhaps you have been keeping up with the ANGEL streaming service show, THE CHOSEN. In a scene that encapsulates the power of God's grace and mercy, the women who are serving in Jesus' ministry share their own version of the Dayenu song with Jesus. This is a spoiler alert, as this scene takes place near the end of the latest season, so you might want to hold off on watching this if you have not yet seen it. I've watched this scene at least a half-dozen times and it stirs my soul with fire every time. But whether or not you watch this, no matter where you are in your life, take time to count every blessing. The fact that this scene is moving is not just for great dramatic effect, but it should cause all people to see if they could give back all but one of their blessings, look to the Lord, and say to Him, "it would have been enough."
