Brings to You Disaster Preparedness and Response Training Session at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints

ICGU has been asked to accept the responsibility and respond as part of a county wide government response team to any catastrophic disaster or emergency with pastoral care to provide comfort and assistance to those in need – be it from those injured [survivors] or the families of those who did not. This group reaches Oneida, Madison, and Herkimer Counties and we expect to host interested persons from all three. [Grateful to welcome HOOAD, VOAD active members and other groups]
Les and Carl are both experienced responders who have been on site providing assistance to governments at the highest levels through most of the country’s disasters in the past two decades beginning with 911.
The Training will begin at 10 AM and proceed through a lunch that will be provided. Expect the training to run for at least 3 hours and may go to 4 hours – less or more depending on the groups individual needs.

Credits for participating here will be recorded and certificates will be signed and awarded to all who successfully complete the training. Credits are recognized by the larger organizers across the country.
This Seminar is provided at no cost to those who wish to participate – Reverend Chamberlain, as well as the planners and hosts have donated their time and the expenses so that we, as a community, will be better prepared for whatever may come.
