One of our Elders, Mark Brewer, took some our teenage guys to lunch today!! It’s awesome to see our leaders invest in the future of our community. Thanks Mark for encouraging these young men and thank you young men for being an important part of our ministry at CCAR!

Stay up late for the game but get up early for an incredible worship service tomorrow morning. Wear your Crimson or Red&Black just make sure you’re there. Any other fans are just as welcome too. Wear your Orange, Blue, Gold or whatever color you root for, tomorrow we celebrate Jesus.

Tomorrow in our Chronological Journey Through the Bible we will begin our journey in the New Testament! We will be talking about Jesus’s baptism and following God’s direction. Come join us in worship at 10:30am. In the meantime enjoy this beautiful picture of the Jordan River where Jesus was baptized.

This morning was See You At The Pole around the country. We were at Coosa High with the kids to pray over our school and community. Alex and Sam led some worship songs and several students led in scripture and prayer as a large group then in smaller groups. I’m proud that many of our students from CCAR are in leadership and how many Coosa students showed up to pray. A beautiful way to start the day!
