Lighthouse Baptist Church of Rome We’re an assembly of the body growing together and striving to reach the community for JESUS CHRIST. Welcome! Our Sunday School classes meet at 11:00 a.m.

Find us just north of Orwell on Rt. 45 in southern Ashtabula county. We are a Bible believing and teaching assembly that meets twice weekly for services to learn and grow together in the grace and knowledge of the Word of GOD. We are a place you can call home and we would be honored to have you visit with us! on Sundays. At this time, we have three classes avai

lable. We have a class for adults, one for middle and senior high schoolers, as well as one for preschool and grade school aged children. We have a Jr. Church available for those ages 4-10 years old during the noon worship and service hour. Our worship service begins at noon on Sundays and we have a prayer and Bible study meeting on Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. We have a nursery available for those three-years-old and under during all service times. We currently meet on Thursdays at 4:00 and Saturdays at 10:30 for outreach. Please contact the church by phone or message us here if you have any questions.

Church family, there are three signups right now ✍️
1. The most important, Outreach!
Reaching “our Jerusalem” as Acts 1:8 tells us. “ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.”
There are options of Tuesdays at 10:00 for canvassing or Saturdays at 9:00 for door-to-door.
Depending on how many come we will carpool or take the bus and divide up or stay together so be sure to add the date to your calendar so you don’t leave a partner hanging 🗓️

2. The annual church picnic! 🌭
Sign up to bring a side dish or dessert to share if you can. If you can’t, then skip this sign up and come anyway! Details here: Church Picnic 🧺
We’re also looking for a couple people to bring coolers with ice so please let Pastor Jerod know if you can help with that.

3. V.B.S.

Ladies Day Away at Camp Mission Meadows and Anniversary Sunday today! A busy but spiritually rich weekend.
Praise the LORD for 7 years of LBC of Rome 💒 We’re grateful to the Starres for visiting again! Bro. Brian shared a study on the word “Be” in the Bible and of course, Mrs. Starre played a beautiful cello arrangement. 🎻📖 💕
Thank you to our LBCR church family for the work and wonderful food today, the Starres for coming and ministering to us, and to all those at Maranatha Baptist Church for the wonderful conference.
We’re looking forward to a summer of outreach and fun serving together ☀️ Pray for VBS and camp coming up!

Ladies, don’t forget about Bible study tomorrow night! “Pondering and Prayer Boards” is our theme for May 🤗
What is a prayer board?
It is a visual, interactive tool used to organize prayer requests, scriptures, and praises! It helps us to stay focused, encouraged, and consistent by providing a dedicated space to "cast worries" and track answered prayers over time 🙏🙌
At 6:30 we’ll kick off with part 3 of our Flourish study series. 🕡 If you’d like to prepare a bit you can read Exodus 12:1-32 about Passover.
We will provide boards and supplies but if you have your own cork or felt board or any craft/scrapbooking supplies you’d like to bring, please feel free! 📍📝🧵
