The Pyramid Project The Pyramid Project is a program designed to provide mentorship, guidance and leadership skills to youth from underserved communities.

The Pyramid Project was founded by Ty Pinkins and Sabrina Curtis. Ty, a native of Rolling Fork, Mississippi, and Sabrina who was raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico, acknowledged a need for leadership programs for youth. They started the organization in an effort to immerse youth from underserved communities in educational, business, and public-sector experiences that are not readily available in th

eir home communities. The curricular aspect of the program is designed to assist and inspire youth to become successful leaders in their communities. The major components of the Pyramid Project are to introduce the participants to successful public and private-sector professionals who young people can learn to emulate and to expose youth to social and cultural enrichment that they might not otherwise encounter on a day-to-day basis. In doing so, The Pyramid Project instills a sense of purpose, pride, and passion with respect to the participants’ future goals as well as provides the participants with informational and educational opportunities that will motivate them to share their experiences with their peers.
