Hope of the Ozarks (Formerly Camp David of the Ozarks) is a rustic Angel Tree camp in Rolla, Missouri uniquely designed to meet the needs of children of prisoners through community and mentoring. Children of prisoners are often considered the most at risk youth in America. We have found that providing community can play a significant role in empowering these kids to break the cycle of generational

incarceration. Each summer we have around 100 volunteers who cook meals, wash dishes, help with crafts, play games, and are just there for the kids. Most of our funding comes from individuals and churches who believe in our mission. Come join our team in bringing hope to children of prisoners!

Today is the day the Lord has made, and there are so many reasons to rejoice!

After months of preparation, training, prayer, and countless hours of hard work, we have the incredible privilege of welcoming our first group of campers for the 2026 season.

Please join us in praying for our campers, counselors, staff, and all of the volunteers and supporters working behind the scenes to make this a summer these children will never forget. Pray that lives will be changed, hearts will be encouraged, and that each camper will experience the love and hope of Jesus in a powerful way.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us this afternoon for our Rolla Chamber ribbon cutting as we officially launch into Summer 2026!

We are incredibly grateful for the support of the many individuals, businesses, churches, and organizations that make this ministry possible. Your encouragement, partnership, and investment allow us to continue bringing the hope of Jesus to children of prisoners and developing leaders who will impact their world.

We did it!

A few days ago, we were looking for counselors so that seven teen girls could come off our waitlist and experience camp this summer. Today, thanks to an incredible community of volunteers, supporters, prayer warriors, and people willing to say "yes," we have the counselors we need!

This summer, Hope of the Ozarks will welcome **31 young ladies ages 13–16** during our Teen Girls Week.

That's more than we've hosted since COVID.

Even more exciting, it's the most teen girls we've ever hosted while maintaining the low camper-to-counselor ratio that is so critical to our ministry model.

At Hope of the Ozarks, we believe relationships change lives. That's why we work so hard to ensure every camper is known, valued, encouraged, and cared for by adults who are invested in their success. Growth is exciting, but not at the expense of the personal connections that make camp so impactful.

Because of your willingness to serve, seven more young ladies will hear about the hope of Jesus, build meaningful relationships, make lasting memories, and experience a week designed just for them.

To everyone who shared a post, prayed for this need, tagged a friend, volunteered, or said "yes" to serving: thank you!

We're just **ONE counselor away.**

One woman saying "yes" means **7 teen girls** can come off our waitlist and experience camp this summer.

That's it.

One week.
One counselor.
Seven lives impacted.

For many of these girls, camp is more than games, horses, and campfires. It's a place where they are seen, valued, encouraged, and introduced to the hope of Jesus Christ. It's a week where they can simply be kids, surrounded by people who care.

Right now, we need **1 female counselor (18+)** for:
