Hope of the Ozarks A rustic Angel Tree camp bringing hope to children of prisoners through community, summer camp, and mentoring in Rolla MO

Hope of the Ozarks (Formerly Camp David of the Ozarks) is a rustic Angel Tree camp in Rolla, Missouri uniquely designed to meet the needs of children of prisoners through community and mentoring. Children of prisoners are often considered the most at risk youth in America. We have found that providing community can play a significant role in empowering these kids to break the cycle of generational

incarceration. Each summer we have around 100 volunteers who cook meals, wash dishes, help with crafts, play games, and are just there for the kids. Most of our funding comes from individuals and churches who believe in our mission. Come join our team in bringing hope to children of prisoners!

What an awesome moment as the counselors take the stage at the talent show to remind their girls where and Who their identity is found in.

7 salvations. 3 baptisms. 6 rededications.

It's hard to put this week into words.

We watched young girls who have carried burdens no child should have to bear discover that they are deeply loved by God. We saw tears turn to joy, fear give way to hope, and hearts surrendered to Christ. There is nothing quite like watching a child realize that their past does not define them and that their future belongs to Him.

Junior Girls 1 was truly an extraordinary week, and it has become another chapter in what has already been a remarkable summer at Hope of the Ozarks.

This is why we do what we do.

This is why we exist—to bring the hope of Jesus to children of prisoners and develop leaders who will impact their world.

Thank you to every volunteer, donor, church, prayer partner, and supporter who makes moments like these possible. You are helping change lives and shape eternity.

To God alone be the glory.

Can you be the one? ❤️

We are just ONE counselor away from being able to welcome 25 incredible girls (ages 8–12) for Junior Girls Week, July 5–10. At our peak counselor ratio, we're only three volunteers away from serving every girl who wants to come.

For many of these campers, Hope of the Ozarks is more than just a week of camp. It's a place where they're known, loved, encouraged, and introduced to the hope of Jesus. One week can truly change the trajectory of a child's life.

If you're 15 or older, we'd love to have you join our team. No matter your experience, we'll equip you to make a lasting difference.
