Before Jesus went to the cross,

That love gave Him the strength to serve,
to forgive,
to wash feet,
and to lay down His life.

to fall out of the love of God.

Agape love is not a feeling that comes and goes.
It is the intentional and unwavering love of the Father toward His children.

Jesus invites us deeper—
to know Him not only as Lord,
but as Father.

And when His love fills us completely,
it overflows into the lives of others with grace, truth, and compassion. 🤍

Lord, stir our hearts to live rooted in Your love.

We often want the comfort of being loved by Jesus
without the cost of loving like Jesus.

But agape love always requires sacrifice.
Setting aside comfort.
Choosing others first.
Loving even when it’s inconvenient.

This is the way of Christ.
And this is the love the Church is called to carry into the world. 🤍

One of those ministries is Redwood Gospel Mission.

Redwood Gospel Mission is dedicated to serving people experiencing homelessness, addiction, and poverty by providing meals, shelter, recovery programs, job support, and the hope of Jesus. Through practical care and spiritual transformation, they are helping restore lives and rebuild futures. 🙌

Before we can love others well, we have to be rooted in the love of Christ ourselves.

A love that is wide enough for everyone.
Deep enough for every failure.
Strong enough to transform us from the inside out.

Paul prayed that the Church would truly grasp the fullness of Christ’s love—because changed people love differently. 🤍

A love that is patient.
Kind.
Not self-seeking.
Not easily angered.
Keeping no record of wrongs.

Real biblical love isn’t built on feelings.
It’s built on surrender, obedience, and the character of Christ within us.
