With the election just a week away, God brought this scripture to me this morning. It comes from Psalm 146:1-3
Praise the Lord
Praise the Lord,my soul
I will praise the Lord all my life
I will sing praise to my God as long as I live.
Do not put your trust in in princes,
In human beings, who cannot save.

It's easy to get caught up in all the rhetoric surrounding the election, but I keep in mind that I know who my leader is, and where I put my trust. He is supreme above all, no matter who is in office.

Bulls Gap Regional Food Pantry
Distribution this morning Saturday October 26, from 9:00 AM-11:00 AM.
We are in our new building at 148 Main Street Bulls Gap, across from the community center, with lots of different food to share with the community. We don't require any ID or proof of income. If you need food come by and shop our shelves. Please share this with your friends.

I just read a great quote in John Mark Comer's book Practicing The Way.
For Jesus, salvation is less about getting you into heaven and more about getting heaven into you.
Ponder on that one for a while.
