I’m slacking ya’ll…

Pictures from our last JBQ competition of the season from a couple of weeks ago. Super proud of these kiddos and all the hard work they are putting into learning God’s word.
As a team, we came in third place! Mallory placed 2nd in 1 round. Olivia placed 2nd in 1 round. Jaxen placed 2nd in 5 rounds. Julian placed 1st in 4 rounds and 2nd in 3 rounds and had 1 positive quiz out. Julian placed 4th for highest individual score with an average 44.4 average points - totaling 400. I just have to say, every child that competed is a winner to me because they are all learning the Lord’s word! Now time to start prepping for next season!

Super proud of these Crossroads Yougins! This is from the 3rd JBQ competition of the season and our 1st ever held Competition at Crossroads Assembly. To me, they were all winners because they are all working towards the most important thing, learning Gods word! And they are all working and studying so hard.

Julian Wall - placed 1st in 4 rounds and placed 2nd in 2 rounds and had 1 positive quiz out.
Olivia Prescott - placed 1st in 3 rounds and placed 2nd in 1 round.
Adalynn Honaker - placed 2nd in 1 round.

Julian Wall - placed 5th for individual highest score.

The team as a whole placed 3rd.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible. Pastor Stephen for allowing us to start this amazing ministry and for helping with audio on the day of the competition. Dan Anderson for all of your help, guidance, training, advice, prayers, literally everything that helped us get started. Matthew Michael for all of your help to pull everything together to help make this event possible. Donna, Nancy, and Dianna for helping in the kitchen. Micheal Massie for helping with nursery. Celeste Kemp and Donna Hurley for helping as officials. And a thank you to everyone else that helped with this event. And a huge thank you to all of the parents for working with your kids and taking the time to help them learn and really doing the knitty gritty work at home. Thank you for allowing to coach these sweet kiddos and helping them learn more about the Lord. I’m truly so blessed. I thank God for allowing me to do this work and for giving me the strength and all the tools I need to help these kids.

Junior Bible Quiz Competition #2 (our first) was truly awesome. Every quizzer did an amazing job. I’m so proud of everyone! And how much they are truly learning about God’s word. I cannot wait till January to host our 1st Junior Bible Quiz Competition. A big thank you to Life Point Church for hosting this competition. Everyone did amazing!

And congratulations to our very own Olivia Prescott for coming in 2nd place for 2nd highest in points in one of the matches. Very proud of you! 😊❤️

Good morning everyone! Just a quick reminder that tomorrow - Saturday November 16th is our first competition. We will be meeting at the church for 7:30 am and leaving for 7:45 am. The competition starts at 9 am and ends at 12 pm. Sister Dawn has offered to drive the bus. Remember, I just want us to go and have fun. This is not about winning. Let’s fellowship and learn a thing or two. 😊 See everyone in the morning! And please bring your study materials, we will be having “practice” on the way to and from the competition tomorrow instead of having it Sunday.

Lunch is $3 per person or $18 max per family.

Good morning everyone! Again just letting everyone know that our official practice times have been changed to 4 pm on Sundays. Sunday November 10th is the exception. We will be meeting at 3:30 pm before our Thanksgiving dinner - this way we can get in one last practice before the competition. See you all then!

So excited for our kickoff practice Sunday the 3rd at 6 pm. Hope to see everyone there! We will be discussing an earlier practice time. Also, I will have chicken nuggets and tater tots for this practice. If we decide on an earlier practice time, I will not be doing meals as this does get expensive, but snacks will be provided. Hope everyone has been studying!
