We invite everyone to celebrate America's 250th with us at Harvest Community Church of The Nazarene !! Every single year we proudly have an Independence Day celebration at church and this year will be no different! With special music, readings, flags and more we CELEBRATE our country and stand proudly as Americans.
July 5th also kicks off our BEST SUMMER EVER at HCC so stay after service for a special sweet for everyone!!

Doors open at 5:00!
Adult Bible study at 6:00 in foyer coffee shop. Take a deep in depth look into the word with these studies.

One of our 6th graders asked the question in their small group class Sunday morning, "What does it mean to walk daily with Jesus? How does that look?"
This question has been rolling around in the minds of our teachers. To have a child ask that question is excellent but it also causes us to examine ourselves. What does that look like?
What about you? What does that look like for you? How would you tell that to a 6th grader?

A new week!

We are still PACKING THE PANTRY this month so bring your non-perishable items and place them in the box next to the Info. Desk in the foyer.
Father's Day is Sunday! We will honor our dad's and their families after church Sunday with food and games in the parking lot!
No church activities Sunday night.

The bulk of spiritual growth does not happen in the church. Yes, we should go to church and be involved and as a follower of Christ you should want to be in the church. But the majority of spiritual growth happens in the quiet moments with God. Bible open. Prayer. Watching the sunrise. Applying the scripture to our lives and not just reading it. Let the scriptures mold you and shape you to be more like HIM. Sharing the good news with others.
"Work out your salvation with fear and trembling for it God who is working in you for his will and purpose." Phil.2:12-13

We love and appreciate the worship and talents God gives us.
Maybe yours isn't singing but maybe it's teaching, or encouraging, baking, prayer warrior, dancing. Whatever it is, do it for God's glory!!

Life is hard. No way around it.
The church has had flooding with these storms, families in our church are going through some tough things, we know our government always needs prayer and yet we can have peace in our circumstances.
It isn't pleasant and we have to do the work, yes we have to work, but he has promised he will be with us.
