✨Vendor Spotlight✨

Debby Schlozman has happily been a vendor at Temple Israel Artfest since the beginning. She uses beads, stones, pearls, and crystals to bring jewelry to life. This year, she is even bringing jewelry for plants! New Propagation Stations bring little spots of green to hang on your walls. Free plant cuttings included with first 15 purchases!

Just a couple more days until ArtFest 😍

Our next vendor is Kat Day! Kat has worked with textiles almost all her life, and made her first doll dresses from Kleenex! She is a retired art teacher and creates one-of-a-kind blank journals and books as well as wall art quilts. Her work has been shown in several local galleries and she teaches classes in bookbinding at the Creamery Arts Center here in Springfield! Catch her this weekend to see what she has available!

We're only a few days away from ArtFest! As we count down the days, we're going to continue to feature some of our artists that will be showcasing their work this weekend!

Introducing: Jolly Home & Garden Design! They are all about repurposing beautiful things from the past and giving them love in a new and creative way. Beth was inspired to begin creating her work when she received some dishes from her grandmother that she wanted to display and had an old window she wanted to decorate. Now, she puts that creative energy into one of a kind vintage jewelry and home décor!

✨Vendor Spotlight✨

Jill Whitman has been a featured artist at ArtFest in years past, and she does a beautiful job of incorporating nature into her work. She makes these trees out of different types of wire such as copper, aluminum, and enameled color coated copper. Some of the trees are made to look like the wind is blowing through them, but in her mind, they are to show the wind blowing the stresses of the day away 🍃💨 She loves creating trees and affixing them to pieces of drift wood that she finds locally along the creek. Some of these intricate works take between 25-30 hours to create! Check out her trees this weekend!

✨Vendor Spotlight✨

Marci Greenberg Cox - Author is one of our newest members of our congregation and resides in Buffalo, MO. When she was diagnosed with Stage 3 breast cancer in 2018 she wrote a children's book to help in her healing process. Since her diagnosis, she has co-written a few coloring books with her daughter which will be featured along with pillowcases you can color. Marci is also crafty and will have a few of her wreaths on hand!

We're 6 days away from ArtFest! With that in mind, we're going to continue to showcase our vendors so you can get a taste of what we are offering!

Our next vendor is Barbara Vicente! Barbara has been weaving baskets for over 30 years! She loves the diversity of basket weaving, and there are many materials and styles to work with. She weaves traditional baskets and has even weaved baskets around antlers and other tools and items! We can't wait to see the variety she will have available this Sunday!

As we get closer to ArtFest, we're going to start showcasing some of our awesome vendors!

Introducing Swan Creek Crafts! Mike hand makes all of his items right here in the Ozarks, and is also one of our vendors who has been with us in years prior! After retiring from the marines, he decided to take a creative path with woodworking. Now, he creates items ranging from utensils, earrings, charcuterie boards, and other wooden pieces. There are over 150 different types of hardwood from all over the world in his work! We can't wait to see Mike at ArtFest again this year!

As we get closer to ArtFest, we're going to start showcasing some of our awesome vendors!

Our first vendor is Kimono Designs! Theresa has been showcasing her work at ArtFest for several years now, and we're always so excited to see it! Her creations start with vintage kimonos, and she creates beautiful new apparel using fabric piecing, dying, and applique techniques. We can't wait to see what she has to show us at ArtFest!
