Walnut Street Church Of Christ, Rogers Arkansas We are simply a group of Christians who are striving to get to heaven and supporting each other in also getting there.

We are not a denomination and have no creed or doctrine besides that of the Bible, especially the New Testament which describes the beginnings of Christ's Church - or the Church of Christ ("......The churches of Christ salute you" Romans 16:16). Our head is Jesus Christ who is the Son of God, who came to earth and lived in the form of a man before being crucified. He rose from the dead on the thir

d day, fulfilling many prophecies. Doing this he demonstrated His power over death, and the ability to raise us from the grave when he comes a second time to gather His followers. Matters of judgment within the local congregation are the role of Elders or Shepherds of which we have 3. Baptism in water is how one confirms his belief in and willingness to become one of Christ's followers. A baptized believer agrees to live in the world without being a part of the sin that is so prevalent. God adds to His church those who truly believe and strive to live a godly life. We desire that the love of God and His son Jesus Christ be demonstrated and shared with all we come into contact with. Visitors are always welcome, as are questions about the bible and what you might be able to do to draw closer to God.
