At GVBC, providing a safe and secure environment for every camper is our top priority. As we prepare for an incredible summer, we want to share a few key updates to our safety policies:

Enhanced Background Checks: To ensure the highest standards, all staff and volunteers undergo a more enhanced background check before being allowed on campus.

Closed Campus Policy: This summer, GVBC will operate as a closed campus outside of designated visiting hours to better monitor site access.

Secure Entry: Our entrance gate will remain closed during non-visiting hours.

Life can get tough sometimes. Sickness, job stress, family struggles, _____ fill in the blank. Every year our team receives requests from families, single parents, and caregivers for financial support so they can send their child to camp for a week to play, make friends and learn about Jesus. This year we have over $7,700 already requested for the 2026 season.

Over the years, we have done our best to help families with this request, and we will continue to do so. We never want a child to miss out on the Green Valley experience. But you can also help. You have the opportunity to "Sponsor a Camper." We would love to partner with you to make it so that nobody misses camp regardless of their home situation. Below is a link where you can donate today. It's super easy and secure. This can be a "one time" gift or a more frequent gift.

Lots of trees getting split and processed today. The woods around the cabins are getting cleaned up. It is looking good. Thank you all that came out today.

Jim Ecker has been her all week helping cleanup trees and work around the cabins to get us ready for next year. This man is 80 and still one of the hardest working guys. Thank you Jim for helping me and most of all helping Green Valley.

See everyone at camp tomorrow. I have had fun playing in the woods this week. Tomorrow will be the big day with lots of help and fun had by all.
