Good Morning GBC Family!

Hope you are starting the week off strong. Celebrating Dad's and other father figures in our lives!!

This week's happenings....
1️⃣The baby Bottle challenge ended Sunday. We filled 30 bottles. Thank you for your contributions.
2️⃣ Wednesday Night Bible Study at 6pm will be on The Marks of a Faithful Minister, from Acts 20:1-12.
3️⃣Grace Kids! are back from their adventures at Camp Siloam, where we had 4 salvations. Woo-hoo! Praise!
4️⃣NEXT Sunday, the 28th we have our next Business Meeting at 5pm.
5️⃣Oaks of Grace are having a luncheon on July 9th, at 11:15am. 250 years of Being Free Indeed. Speaker is Donnie Smith and fried chicken and fixings will be provided.
6️⃣Women of Joy! Conference is on October 2 thru 4. Non-refundable deposit of $40 is due July 8th (early bird) and it goes towards the conference cost. Remainder of cost due 8 weeks before the event. If 10 or more go from our church it will be discounted.
$129 for Conference only. $259 for Conference+ shared hotel ($65 a night) $369 for Conference + private hotel ($130 a night). It's on the Landing in Branson so it's walking distance to a ton of shopping and food. Special guest are Annie Downs, Rebekah Lyons, Katherine Wolfe, and Lisa Harper, with Musical Guest Steven Curtis Chapman. And Minister of Music is Charles Billingsley. Promises to be fun, encouraging and uplifting. Sign up in foyer and give your $40 deposit to Elle Todd (church secretary).
7️⃣Feeding the Flock. Bible Study and Food! Marlene Britting will be hosting and teaching Easy, Cheap Meal planning and preparation with a correlating Bible lesson. Starts July 9th at 4:30pm. Attend them all or just pop in to one when you can. Donation for groceries welcomed.
8️⃣VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL. July 20-24 from 6pm til 8pm. Food served at 5:30. Still need volunteers for VBS plus setup and tear down. Donation board and Adopt a Prop are in Foyer.

Good Morning GBC Family!!

Sorry we are a little late to the game on getting the weekly bulletin out. With it being summer time, a lot of our folks are out for vacations, camps, and retreats.
Here are the Happenings this weekend and week!!
1️⃣Fathers Day is coming up. We will have a little something special for them in the Children Church Area during Sunday School. Dads stop by with your kiddos and see what they have in store for you!
2️⃣Loving choices baby bottles can still be filled thru this Sunday (Father's Day!).
3️⃣Our Grace Kids! are off at Camp Siloam. Having a blast, and learning the Word of God.
4️⃣Our Youth and Kids Wednesday night study is out for summer but we have pop up events for them. Just watch the calendar for these Pop Ups.
5️⃣Business Meeting Sunday June 28th at 5:00pm. If you would like to attend it will be held in Children's Church.
6️⃣VBS.... Registration is open. Volunteers still needed, we need help in donations, making props, set up, take down and of course helpers for the event. See Kaci for info on where to serve.
7️⃣Feeding the Flock. Our very own Marlene Britting is hosting a Pop-In Bible study. She will be teaching Budget friendly and super easy meal planning, and preparation. Each meal will coincide with a Bible Lesson. You can attend all or just pop in for one or two. Donations for groceries appreciated. We haven't gotten an exact date but are looking to start Mid-July.
8️⃣Tonight we have Wednesday Night Adult Services starting at 6pm. Pastor John will teach on how the Way of the Lord disturbed people. Acts 19:21-41.
9️⃣Women of Joy Retreat. Held in Branson on October 2 thru the 4. Sign up by July 8 for the early bird pricing.
$129 for Conference.
$259 for Conference+Hotel (share a room).
$369 for Conference+Hotel (private room-not shared).
Non-refundable deposit of $40 is due at reservation time. Remainder is due 2 months before the event (August 1).
Weekend full of worship, biblical teaching, fellowship and encouragement. Grow closer to God through His Word and grow closer to your fellow Women of Grace!
