As you walk intimately with Jesus, may faith feel as natural to you as breathing in and out.
Pause throughout the day to look at the sky, notice a child, or help someone in need. Remember that you belong to Creator God. He made you for a purpose and placed you on the earth for such a time as this. Be selective about what you allow into your soul. Be more careful with the thoughts that seek to take up residence in your brain.
Understand the wisdom of guarding your heart and renewing your mind. It'll change your life. Breathe in God's promises and breathe out His Word. Rehearse His goodness. And remember your worth. You are His masterpiece. Walk with joyful, humble, bold confidence today.
SusieLarsonBlessings

Ephesians 2:10 NLT ~ For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago.

God has imparted gifts to you. He’s deposited good things in you; woven a beautiful character in you, and the world needs your influence!
May you know afresh today that your courage is contagious and necessary in this fearful world! When you step out, others look up.
May you know that your transformation is sacred in the eyes of Christ. As you’re conformed to His image, others develop a thirst for Him. Your whole life is meant to be a beautiful offering to God.
May your heart be set on Him. May you rehearse His thoughts toward you. He loves you, sings over you, and equips you beyond your ability. Walk intimately with Him today!
SusieLarsonBlessings

Psalm 84:5 NIV ~ Blessed are those whose strength is in you, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.

May you refuse to rehash and rehearse your hurts, it’ll only hurt you. May you instead forgive so you can be free.
May you do the work necessary to get back to a healed, pure, and grateful place. Scripture says to guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flows your very life.
May you love your life enough to fight for a heart that’s true regardless of what others do.
Make no mistake about it: God sees it all. He delivers and defends. He’ll intervene and vindicate when the time is right. Until then, guard your heart so you can love well.
SusieLarsonBlessings

Proverbs 4:23 BSB ~ Guard your heart with all diligence, for from it flow springs of life.

Courage means you get back up again after you’ve been knocked down.
Courage means you face your fears and move past them.
Courage means you stand up and remain confident in the face of your bullies.
Jesus was the King of Courage and He lives inside of you! Refuse to let your enemy kick dirt in your eyes or spew lies in your ears. YOU are a child of the Most High God. You are someone heaven knows. YOU are profoundly important to the greater Kingdom story. So rise up, wrap yourself up in courage, and face your day. God is with you!
SusieLarsonBlessings

1 Corinthians 16:13 NIV ~ Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong.

God is about to call you out of the boat and onto the water. He asks you to trust Him. Yours may be a task that feels over your head, or a mountain too steep to climb. He may ask you to leave your current assignment, or, He may ask you to stay; whichever requires more faith. He may ask you to face your giants or to lead those that think they can learn nothing from you. Will you shrink back? Or will you rise up? You don’t need all of the answers. You have Jesus. You have His Spirit alive in you. You carry this treasure in your earthen vessel so that you’ll know that the power that marks your life is of God, and not of you. Don’t shrink back, rise up, and go forward in faith. God is the author and the finisher of your faith. SusieLarsonBlessings

2 Corinthians 4:7 NLT ~ We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.

May you pause today to remember that your journey is as sacred as the destination. Whatever next place God has for you, He intends to meet you in this place, where you now stand. He’s hidden treasures in the valleys and grace in the shadows. He offers rest amidst the chaos and peace in the middle of the storm.
Instead of wishing your life away, pause today and pray, “Lord, open my eyes to see You here. Help me to extract the precious from the difficult. Help me embrace the everyday graces You’ve so richly provided.”
May you find joy today simply knowing that you belong to a loving, invested, attentive Savior and He intends to get you safely home. Have a blessed day.
SusieLarsonBlessings

Ephesians 6:23 NLT ~ Peace be with you, dear brothers and sisters, and may God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you love with faithfulness.

01/20/2023

May God Himself recover and restore what the enemy has stolen.
May He heal family rifts, renew tired relationships, and revive weary faith.
May He give you the kind of rest you need so you can regain perspective.
May He give you wisdom in boundaries and humility in love.
May He show you what's yours and grace you to release what isn't.
May you know-beyond a shadow of a doubt-that nothing and no one can separate you from God's love. SusieLarsonBlessings

Psalm 67:1 NLT ~ May God be merciful and bless us. May his face smile with favor on us.

When we allow the Holy Spirit to guard and guide us, when our thoughts are on things above, we find life and peace. God invites us to let peace rule and reign in our hearts at all times.
May you see His promise of provision for the royal, sacred, generous gift that it is! May you seek peace and pursue it!
May you pay closer attention to the condition of your soul, to the train of thoughts, and to where your perspective lies. When peace rules in you, God’s power will be all over you.
May Jesus, the Prince of Peace direct your every step. The world is desperate for the tangible presence and peace of God. May you be a conduit to this Kingdom reality.
SusieLarsonBlessings

Psalm 34:14 NLT ~ Turn away from evil and do good. Search for peace, and work to maintain it.

01/17/2023

May God open the heavens and give you a glimpse of how far you’ve come on this journey. You’re still standing! In Christ, you’re stronger than you know.
May you see with eyes of faith how many mountains have moved on your behalf!
May Jesus speak peace to your soul and strength to your heart.
May you understand—on a whole new level—why God has allowed you to walk through your trials. He has something for you in these places…treasures in the darkness that will serve you well in the days ahead. Don’t lose hope. Don’t let go of His promises. Circumstances are changing because of your faith. Pause today and celebrate even the smallest victories! SusieLarsonBlessings

Psalm 59:16 NIV ~ But I will sing of your strength, in the morning I will sing of your love; for you are my fortress, my refuge in times of trouble.

We often hear that no one wants to pray for patience because as soon as you do, you're going to need some.

Instead, God says, "Ask (and keep on asking), and it shall be given; Seek (and keep on seeking), and you will find; Knock (and keep on knocking), and the door will be opened." He doesn't limit us to His presence or His blessings as "one-time only" gifts. He tells us to keep coming to Him, repeatedly, without giving up faith, as He answers and provides just what we need, just when we need it.

So, go ahead. Pray for patience. God will give you just what you need for today.

Jesus Always - January 5: “Let My consolation—My comfort—bring Joy to your soul... sit quietly in My Presence while I comfort you, helping you see things from My perspective... Moreover, the Joy in your soul gives you buoyancy, enabling you to rise above the countless problems in your life. Once you have gained this perspective, you will discover that you can comfort others in the midst of their troubles. They will find in you the consolation that you have found in Me. Thus your Joy becomes contagious, “infecting” those around you with Joy in their souls!”
Sarah Young

“Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our troubles, so that we can comfort those in any trouble with the comfort we ourselves have received from God.” (2 Corinthians 1:3–4)
