Anyone who really wants to be reconciled to the Lord, but continually ignoring the voice of the Holy Spirit drawing you to repentance, AFTER you have been saved and known and understood God's love for you and having recognized HIS voice, is like anything else you ignore. You become able to tune it out, so that you don't even notice HIS call. If you have tuned out the voice of God, you won't hear when He warns you the door is closing. You won't hear anything until the final trump sounds and it is too late. At that point scripture assures us that EVERY eye will see Him and EVERY ear will hear Him coming, but it won't be a happy day for those who have desensitized themselves to His voice and made themselves immune to His conviction. So seek the Lord while He may be found.
