Something beautiful begins to happen when the body of Christ gather amongst one another, and that is why one of our favorite moments is our corporate gathering.

We are renewed, strengthened, and encouraged through prayer, worshipping our Heavenly Father, and the hearing of the word together!

A beautiful Sunday we enjoyed together! 🙌🏾❤️

We’re grateful to have been reminded through the story of the woman at the well what it looks like to be a true worshiper—one who worships the Father in spirit and in truth. 🙏🏾

And we certainly worshiped in spirit and in truth yesterday! 🙌🏾

As we celebrate Labor Day, we’re also reminded that worship isn’t only found in what we do and produce. We worship God in our rest, too. 🕊️

This Sunday we are happy to have our brother James Knight bring the word of the Lord to our Sunday service. He will be teaching on the woman at the well, and following this week we will begin our new sermon series "Called by Faith," where we will be studying in Hebrews.

Life in His Presence is one that is rich, and nourishing to our bodies and souls. As we officially wrapped up our sermon series this past Sunday, we reflect on what the Lord has done inside the body of Christ over the past 2 months. We have gathered together, prayed with one another, started community outreach, and celebrated baptisms. For this, we are forever grateful to our Heavenly Father!

On Sunday, we shared a historic moment in the life of City of Shalom Church—our first Baptism Sunday since launching in May! 🙌🏾

We had the incredible privilege of witnessing six people publicly confess that Jesus is Lord and identify with Christ through the waters of baptism.

And every one of them has a story.

Stories of grace. Stories of transformation. Stories of God meeting people where they are and making all things new. We can’t wait to share more of their testimonies in the days ahead.

But today, we simply want to reflect and remember what we witnessed: the power of the Holy Spirit at work among us, drawing people to Jesus and bringing new life.

Six baptisms. Six testimonies of grace. One Lord.

Jesus is building His Church, and we are grateful to witness it at City of Shalom Church. 🌊🙌🏾

Friday night we lifted our voices together, fellowshipped, and prayed as one. As often as we can, we must gather together because life in the Lord's presence should not be lived alone!
