"VERIFY IT WITH ALLAH!"
LOVE ME or hate me my dear sisters, but I have to say it the way it is.... Allah (swt) has freed and liberated us with Qur'an from all kinds of oppressions.. NOW hadith comes along claiming to be the voice of the Prophet (saw), picks up and adopts some of those same atrocities employed against women which Allah (swt) has relieved us from and then swears thru narrations that our beloved Prophet (saw) has said them!
WELL, THE BEAUTIFUL THING about Islam is that Allah (swt) protects its authenticity; He guarantees full protection of His DEEN, His QUR'AN and the TRUE CHARACTER of Prophet Muhammad (saw) from the lies Shaytan and his consorts have claimed against him.
WHAT IS THE PROTECTION?
The protection is:
"THE CHECK POINT"!
It is the 32 or more times that Qur'an tells us to OBEY ALLAH AND and HIS MESSENGER SIMULTANEOUSLY!!!
THIS DEMAND THE ACTION OF VERIFYING IT!
[49:6] & [17:36]...it forces us to go back to the Original source and check what they say the Prophet has said with what Allah has said! This is how Allah (swt) wants us to verify if the Prophet (saw) said it.
THERE SHOULD BE NO CONTRADICTION BETWEEN WHAT ALLAH SAID AND WHAT HIS MESSENGER SAID! PERIOD!...this right here is the protection; it is the check point and when we follow this as Allah (swt) tells us to do, there is no way anyone could attribute lies against our beloved Prophet (swt) about us in hadith or any other book; Allah (swt) protects the Prophet's (saw) character in this way!
FOR THE RECORD, Allah (swt) never tells us to verify what the Prophet said thru a chain of narrations, NO, He directs us to check it with His system in what He/Allah Himself has said in the Qur'an! ...and they must both be in sync and march up.
SO MY dear sisters when we read sayings from hadith about women, claiming to be from the Prophet (saw,) we have an obligation to check, confirm and
