First Church - Rocky Mount FUMC RM is a downtown church that offers a safe space for all people to gather and encounter God.

We have a 9am contemporary worship service and an 11am traditional service with Sunday school for all ages between services.

It was a wonderful morning at First Church! During worship, we were reminded to live by faith not fear! We are also thankful that Jesus was in the boat!

Then we were blessed to have our 5th Sunday meal; chicken casserole, green beans, corn on the cob, and rolls!
Dessert - Cupcakes! All of it was delicious!

We Believe in the Power of Prayer.

Yesterday, our church family gathered around one of our own as he prepares to move to California to be closer to family. We surrounded him with love, laid hands upon him, and prayed for God’s blessing, protection, and guidance in this new chapter.

This is what it means to be the Church—we walk together, we love one another, and we pray for one another.

We can’t wait to welcome our kiddos back for another year of learning, growing, playing, and discovering God’s love together!

🕘 Children’s Church — 9:00 AM & 11:00 AM
During worship, kids will enjoy a Bible lesson tailored just for them!

🕙 Children’s Sunday School — 10:00 AM
Kids will dive deeper into the Bible lesson through crafts, games, activities, and more!
