The Story:
Piedmont Community Services is working with an individual who is preparing to move into a new apartment after experiencing an unexpected life transition. She has secured housing, but limited income and transportation barriers have made it difficult to furnish her new home with the basic items needed for everyday living.
At this time, she is in need of several household essentials, including a washer and dryer, basic furniture, cookware, and cleaning supplies. These items will help her establish a safe, functional home where she can live independently and continue building stability.
Without assistance, she remains at risk for increased financial hardship, difficulty maintaining her housing, and added stress as she adjusts to a new beginning. Meeting these needs will help create a stable home environment and reduce barriers to long-term independence. Contact [email protected].
