On behalf of the Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church Family, we humbly bow in submission to the almighty God has He has received into His hands Pastor Reverend Elton Wayne Hines. Pastor Hines was not only an active member of Mount Olive in his youth, eventually having the honor of serving as a deacon, but also had the distinct privilege of being the first son of the ministry when he delivered his “Initial Sermon” on Sunday, March 27, 1977. And for the next 49 years, he continued to live out the text found in John 9:4 that he shared that Sunday afternoon and declared, “I Must Go!” We are not only praying for our own church family, but certainly lifting in prayer Lady Carolyn, Pastor Wayne Jr., his beloved girls, Bunn Chapel, Bethlehem-Tarboro, and the greater Edgecombe & Nash Counties Communities 🙏🏽🥺🙏🏽
