Franklin Heights Church

Franklin Heights Church We want everyone to know Christ and become more like Him through worship, Bible study, and fellowship so that we can make His name known to all.

Join us in person at one of our multiple campuses. Location & service times listed at www.franklinheights.org Visiting a new church for the first time can be an uncomfortable experience. Some people may stay away from visiting because they are concerned that they will not know what to do. We want your experience at Franklin Heights Baptist Church to be enjoyable. We want you to meet friendly peopl

e and hear Biblical teaching and preaching that will be helpful to your life. Franklin Heights Baptist Church is a caring and welcoming congregation. We want you to discover the joy we share when we come together to worship our God as a church family. If you are planning a visit with us soon, it is our desire that you would feel at ease to join us. We look forward to your visit. Please look at the frequently asked questions below:

1. WHERE IS FHBC LOCATED? We are located in the Franklin Heights subdivision, near the Franklin County School Board office.

2. WHAT SHOULD I DO WHEN I ARRIVE? We encourage you to come ten minutes prior to the services starting to allow time for you to get settled in. Upon arrival, go to the worship center; it’s the building with the steeple. At the door of the worship center, you’ll meet a person from our greeting team who will welcome you and direct you to the worship service or a Bible study. We also encourage you to visit one of our information tables in the lobby to learn more about our church.

3. WHAT TIME DO SERVICES START? We have two Sunday morning worship services; the first is at 8:30am and the second service is at 11am. Small group Bible Study happens between the two services from 9:45am-10:45am.

4. HOW SHOULD I DRESS? At FHBC, we do not have a dress code and do not turn people away on how they are dressed. Each Sunday, you’ll see people wearing casual clothes as they would when visiting friends all the way to people in a suit and tie. We are more concerned with meeting your real life needs than with what you are wearing.

5. HOW ABOUT MY CHILDREN? We have a great team of people that work in our Children’s Ministry to provide a safe, fun and loving environment for the children while their parents attend worship services or Sunday School. Nursery is available during the 8:30 service for infants thru age 3. During the 11:00 service we also offer classes for ages 3-5 with a bible lesson, craft and play time. The Welcome Center staff will be glad to help you find your child’s class and get them settled. We understand that you may be hesitant to leave your kids in nursery the first time you visit. Your children are welcome in the Sunday Morning services until you feel comfortable leaving them in the child care ministry. If you have a small child who gets restless in the service and needs to go out, we have comfortable seating in the foyer and the audio from the worship center is played outside so you’ll still be able to hear the music and message.

6. WHAT ARE THE SERVICES LIKE? At Franklin Heights, our music with choir and orchestra accompaniment is blended. You’ll hear traditional hymns as well as more recent praise songs that are sung on Christian radio. The preaching ministry is Biblical and practical, meaning you’ll be able to hear a message from the Bible that is understandable and that you’ll be able to follow prescribed steps as to how you may better live your life for Jesus Christ.

7. WILL I BE SINGLED OUT AS A VISITOR
No—we have a general welcome time in our services, but we never ask visitors to publically identify themselves.

8. WILL I HAVE TO GIVE MONEY? As our guest, you may participate in the offering if you like. It’s up to you and there is no expectation that you give anything.
