I just returned from a nineteen day trip to The Gambia and Sierra Leone, Africa. My mission was to lead a youth conference, a church leaders conference and a one night crusade in Banjul, Gambia, in Mackeni, Sierra Leone and in Freetown, Sierra Leone. In Banjul approximately 30 people responded to the invitation for salvation. In Mackeni there were 2 and in Freetown there were approximately 40. Following the conferences in all three cities there was extensive question and answer times. There was much hunger for sound teaching from the Bible. They kept telling me they needed more teaching like this. After these events were completed I had two days left for personal evangelism. I went with local pastors into the marketplace and preached the gospel on the street to a large crowd. They gave me their full attention and many of them prayed with me for salvation. From there I shared with two neighborhood groups and witnessed salvations. I also spoke to an entire school and shared the gospel. The next day I went with pastors again into neighborhoods sharing Christ. My final afternoon was spent throwing frisbee with youth on a school yard and dancing with small children.

Mission trip

I just completed a 3 night ministry event in Malawi, Africa with my own 501c3 ministry, World Evangelism Ministry, that included a youth conference, church leaders conference and an open air crusade. A year ago I did these same ministry events in southern Nigeria. In March I travel to The Gambia, Africa and from there to Sierra Leone, Africa to lead these same ministry events. In these poor African countries it falls upon my ministry to cover all the costs. I'm seeking partners in this ministry to join my team and bring the gospel to Africa as well as encourage and equip the churches there. Many pastors there do not have formal theological training and also have to work full-time apart from the church. They typically give high remarks for the training and ask me to return. "...for you are still fleshly... are you not walking like mere men?" 1 Cor. 3:3. Some believers are not bearing outward fruit. But if eternal life is present there is hidden fruit such as one's view of the Bible and willingness to hear it, desire for others to be saved, conviction of sin by the Spirit, inner joy in public worship, a sincere desire, though clouded and covered, to love God. Though he is acting like a natural man he is not a natural man. He is in a dormant season of fruit bearing which could extend for a long period. "If any man's work is burned up. He will suffer loss. But he himself will be saved" 1 Cor.3:15
