Meet part of our Compass Kid’s Team! 🎉

Chandler Moreau Teaching Team Lead -

“I come from a large family and grew up in the Rockwall area. I’ve been involved in church since I was a child, even playing the drums on the worship team at the age of 10yo. I graduated from Dallas Baptist University in 2015 with my BS in Elementary Education, and I have been working in Education for the past 11 years. I married my high school sweetheart, Nia (who serves in MDWK), and together, we have two amazing kids, Mya and Lena. During college, I had the opportunity to serve as a youth leader, which grew my passion for investing in the next generation. I truly love being part of Crosspoint and what God is doing here, and I’m excited to be going into my third year serving in the Wednesday night kids ministry, helping kids learn about Jesus and grow in their faith.”

This week in Compass Kids, Pastor Ky taught us about Jacob and Esau from Genesis 25 and 27. Even through imperfect people and difficult circumstances, God’s promises continued and nothing was outside of His good plan.

Who is in control of everything? God is in control of everything in heaven and on earth! Through Jacob’s family, God would one day send the promised Savior to bring blessing and salvation to the world.

What a joy it is to watch parents commit themselves to be the disciple-makers of their homes.

Last Sunday, we celebrated and prayed for 13 families who have chosen to make God known to their children. As a church, we are committed to supporting these parents through prayer, encouragement, and equipping.

Promotion Sunday is almost here! 🎉

This Sunday, our Crosspoint Kids will take their next step as children from birth through kindergarten move into their new classrooms, and our incoming second graders join their families in worship as they become Worship Ready.

When you check in your child, be sure to look at your check-in sticker for their new classroom assignment. Our team will be throughout the building to help you find the right room.

As our newest worshipers join us in the service, we invite our church family to extend grace and encouragement as they learn what it means to worship alongside the body. What a joy it is to watch the next generation grow in knowing God, being known, and making Him known.

Kids this week we have an exciting challenge for you! Serve with our Crosspoint kids team.

This Saturday at 5pm, we’re heading to Richardson to serve with Feed My Starving Children. This organizations mission is to help starving children by giving them access to food and sharing the Gospel.
