Meet The Bridge.

Our Young Adults ministry has a new name! The Bridge is for young adults ages 22 through early 30s looking for community, connection, and a place to grow together.

Come meet the crew at Picnic in the Park this Friday at 6:30 PM at Harry Myers Park. Burgers, hot dogs, yard games + a good excuse to hang out.

We’re making a little more space in our Sundays.

STARTING SEPTEMBER 13th! Our new service schedule will give us 30 minutes between services, creating more room for families to transition, Kids Ministry teams to safely welcome and release children, our parking lot to clear, and our serving teams to prepare.

The goal behind the change is simple: to make attending worship more accessible and help us welcome people well.

Good things make terrible gods.
Our work, our families, our comfort, our success, our relationships, even our plans for the future can all be good gifts from God. But when a good thing becomes an ultimate thing, it begins to take a place it was never meant to hold.

In 1 Thessalonians 1, we see the evidence of a life transformed by the gospel: they “turned to God from idols to serve the living and true God”

Repentance doesn’t only mean turning away from what is obviously sinful. Sometimes it means recognizing what has quietly become too important and putting it back in its rightful place. So this week let’s ask ourselves what has become too important in our lives right now?

You have the Lord Jesus Christ.
You have grace.
And you have the peace that comes with it.
