Okay … Due to the fact that there will be a LARGE funeral at the church next week …

We will delay decorating for VBS until after May 28. … NO DECORATING TONIGHT OR NEXT WEDNESDAY NIGHT.

I will schedule other nights and possibly some days after all that is over. 👍🏻

Many of you already know … Gene Greenawalt passed last evening, quietly at home with his lovely wife, Claudine, by his side.

We appreciate the many prayers that are going up for our family.

Christian Life Club (CLC) Honor Council. 

We honored our kids and celebrated their accomplishments on Wednesday evening, May 6 at Rockwall Free Methodist Church

What can I say about CLC …

Work for 9 different Badges throughout the year
Memorize Scripture
Learn how to share our Faith with those in our world
Learn why we believe what we believe
Learn how to use the Bible

It is said that …
Sunday School teaches Bible stories and biblical truths ….
Jr. Church helps understand worship ….
CLC puts feet on our knowledge and shows us how to walk through life using that knowledge to share Christ ….

Our CLC Kids work throughout the school year to earn badges through activities and Bible memorization. We also have special evenings for packing Christmas Boxes, helping with Missions projects, and packing snack bags for Meals on Wheels.

Fun Fact …
CLC was C*C (Christian Youth Crusaders) in the beginning. This program was used throughout the Free Methodist Denomination for many years. It has been discontinued in our denomination. Our church has chosen to continue using the materials, changing them as needed to update them. It’s a fabulous way to help our kids learn to share Jesus with their friends.
