Beth Ami Brotherhood

Beth Ami Brotherhood Temple Beth Ami Brotherhood In addition, it sponsors a bagel bar every Sunday morning during Religious School sessions.

Started in 1971, Temple Beth Ami's Brotherhood has evolved as a result of the men's desire to make a meaningful contribution to the religious and general life of the congregation. This is accomplished by various efforts, such as Sunday morning brunches with guest speakers, lecture series, and annual social and community service events. The Brotherhood also provides service and social functions for

its own members and the general Temple membership, in order to create a spirit of camaraderie that is vital to the continuing well being of the Temple and its members. The Brotherhood currently fields two softball teams in a local synagogue league (for information about the Suburban Maryland Synagogue Men's Softball League, go to: http://www.synagogue-softball.org ). Membership in the Brotherhood is open to all members of the congregation; new male members of the congregation are given a complementary one year's membership. The degree of active participation is entirely up to each individual. A feeling of accomplishment adds a high level of enjoyment achieved with involvement in any of our activities.

At this time, the PTA is looking for volunteers to buy select food items and drop the food off at one of four designated locations by November 15. If you can help out, you can access the SignUpGenius at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/4090544a5af23a75-jones2.

Later, the PTA will be distributing a second SignUpGenius looking for volunteers who are willing to distribute the food on November 22. For questions, you can contact the PTA coordinator, Jessica Berrellez at [email protected]. You can also contact Al Schwartz at [email protected], who is coordinating the project for TBA.
