Please join us on Sept 6th 2026. We start with at 0900 in front of Saint Francis of Assisi Church and pray The Rosary. The same prayer Fr. Mychal was praying on 911 in the North Tower. At 0930 we start the Walk after a brief ceremony at E 1 L24 where Fr Mychal responded with those companies to the WTC.
The 911 Walk with stops along 7th Avenue. We remember the Heroes lost on that fateful day. We also honor the FDNY, NYPD and PAPD at these stops. We conclude at Saint Peter’s Church where Fr Mychals body was brought after he passed from injuries sustained at the WTC. This is the eve of the 25th Anniversary. Be a part of this 911 Walk. We Walk to Honor and Remember. Thank You.

This letter was found in my archives of the Fr Mychal 911 Walk of Remembrance. This was typed by one of Steven’s Health Team and signed by the founder of the Walk. Det Steven McDonald. Join us on Sunday,Sept 6,2026 at Saint Francis of Assisi where Fr Mychal departed to respond to the WTC on 911. 0900 Rosary
0930 we step off for Saint Peter’s Church.
We stop along 7th Ave to read names and thank the FDNY, NYPD, PAPD for their sacrifice 25 years ago. We also thank those who still serve and protect NYC. All are welcome.

911 Walk of Remembrance. We will honor all those lost on 911 and follow the guidance that Steven bestowed on the 911 Walk Team many years ago. 9-6-26 at 0900 Saint Francis of Assisi we will pray the rosary. Lead by the Det Steven McDonald Men’s Prayer Group.
0930 E1 L24 we honor the fallen and we start our Walk down 7th Avenue. All are welcome no fee, no registration. Show up and be a part of of this wonderful tribute to those lost on 911 and those who still serve and protect us. FDNY, NYPD, PAPD.

It is one month till The Fr Mychal Judge 911 Walk. Please share this flyer on your Facebook feed. This is the start of the 25th Anniversary Remembrances. This Walk was founded by Det. Steven McDonald and the tradition lives on in those who attend this event. All are welcome, no fee , no registration required.

At our July Meeting of The DSMMPG at Saint Agnes we had about 30 men and our guest speaker Fr.Patrick Boyle from Ireland. He has spoken many times at our meetings when visiting
RVC. He knew Steven and was blessed to have known him.

Renaming of the NYPD Police Academy. It was a great day for The NYPD, McDonald, Norris Family and All those invited by PC Jessica Tisch. God Bless The NYPD.
