Forgiveness does NOT mean you instantly trust someone again, and it doesn't mean what they did was okay. ✋ It simply means you refuse to let hatred rule your heart! You get to live your life on your terms, choosing God's peace over human bitterness. Trust is earned, but grace is given. How does this change your view on forgiving? 🤔

“The real test of the heart isn’t just how we survive the hurt—but what we do when we finally have the power to respond to those who caused it.” Similarly, from our lesson last Sunday morning, Joseph stood before his brothers who once betrayed him. With power in his hand, he chose to forgive, showing unprecedented grace and love.

"As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good." – Genesis 50:20
