What a joy! Rev. Dr. Allan Buss, president of the LCMS NorthernIllinoisDistrict , visited St. Andrew today to preach and dedicate the new crucifix. It will be an enduring reminder of the love of Jesus for the whole world. Praise be to God!

Last month, St. Andrew collected 42 boxes of cereal for local food pantries. This month, we collect peanut butter, jelly and other sandwich spreads. Help us love our neighbors as Jesus directs us. “Spread positivity!”

What a blessing to have our siblings in Christ from Bethlehem join us! May God continue to provide for them as they live in the same land where our Lord Himself walked.

Yesterday, the first artwork for the Stations of the Cross was installed. The 15th Station, “Resurrection,” marks the start and end of the path. Kate May Fitch’s work is stunning. We intend to formally dedicate the Stations in September. Soli Deo Gloria!
