Good Evening!!!

Great Rehearsal tonight everyone! Thank you for putting in the extra time this evening! Here is the schedule for Gospel Fest.

Friday - January 10 - ***Please have all snacks and salads in the fellowship hall no later than 2:30 p.m.
*** For those who would like to serve the food at 5:30, please be there to help around 4:45 p.m.
*** The Singing Men of S.T. will be performing from 7:00 - 8:15 if you would like to stay and listen.

Saturday - January 11 - *** Please be in the choir room at NOON dressed in your Blue Choir Shirt and dark pants
*** We will sing "around" 1:00 p.m.

Sunday - January 12 - ***NO CHOIR during the 8:30 service. The McNeil's will be the music portion of the service.
***Please be in the Choir Room at 4:00 to have a short rehearsal of CRQ music.
*** We will rehearse with CRQ at 4:30 in the sanctuary.
*** Concert will start at 6:00 p.m.

Happy Friday to you all!

It's been an exciting week! Why?..you say....... well...... I have finalized the Christmas Cantata! I have put together 10 songs that Celebrate the New Born King! I have made a few changes to the date of the Cantata as well. I can't wait to share it all with you! Here is what the Christmas Cantata schedule will look like:

CHRISTMAS CANTATA REHEARSALS will be every Sunday from 4 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
REGULAR Service Rehearsals will be every Sunday from 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. (can possibly end earlier that 6)

Christmas Cantata KICK-OFF--- Saturday, August 17th 9 a.m. - noon
DRESS REHEARSAL & DINNER: Thursday, December 12 6 p.m.
SATURDAY CAROLing at HEB : TBD
SATURDAY Performance: Saturday, Dec. 14th 6 p.m.
SUNDAY Performance: Sunday, Dec. 15th 8:30 a.m.

It's very strange to be so excited about Christmas in July.... but here I am.... I pray you will be excited as well!



*** Please keep Bobbie and James Bryant in your prayers...... They have both left the hospital and are staying with friends in Houston. They hope to be back home in Rockport this evening or possibly Saturday. Bobbie is still in a lot of pain and we ask God to heal her quickly, in the precious name of Jesus!

***Remember:--- no robes during July and August (possibly September.... we shall cross that bridge when it comes!)

CHOIR EMAIL SENT OUT TODAY!

Good and Happy Friday to you all......
I've been under the weather with a pesky little cold, but hopefully on the mend.... please pray for my voice that I have it back by Sunday!
VERY IMPORTANT: We WILL NOT wear choir robes for the rest of the Summer. Due to the warmth in the sanctuary due to higher heat outside, we will not wear our robes. Please dress appropriately. If possible I would like to color coordinate each Sunday and we will discuss what colors at our next rehearsal. Do not worry about color coordination for this Sunday (July 7).
In other news.....
***Several in our choir are out and about traveling. Let us keep them in our prayers!
***Jesus loves you and so do I.
***practice your sirens at least 3 minutes a day to help strengthen your air support and train your vocal chords!
