Saw the most wonderful thing today. After 9 years of asking the county and getting quotes from heavy equipment companies and wishing and praying I went to the cemetery today and the right of way between the cemetery and Crossroads Church Road has been beautifully cleared. I was so shocked and pleased I cried.

They even put pipes in the lower drive way and filled the holes with gravel.

THANK YOU PAULDING COUNTY!!

There is one area on the graveyard side of the ditch that they probably couldnt clear-too close to graves. I will gladly clear the undergrowth there myself next week - see last photo.

As of February 28, 2026 we will be discontinuing the Yorkville Baptist Cemetery Association. We no longer have funds to maintain the cemetery. Maintenance responsibilities will revert to the church and the community.

The Yorkville Baptist Cemetery Association was established in 2017 to improve the cemetery by raising funds for regular maintenance and improvements. Volunteers give of their time and money to make this happen.

There are signs at both entrances to the cemetery that state that fees apply to burials and cremation burials. These fees are used to maintain the cemetery.

We trust that families honor these rules out of respect for the loved ones they are interning and the volunteers who donate their services.
