Have you ever wanted to understand the Bible on a deeper level?

This Sunday, we invite you to join us as we begin a brand-new teaching series through the book of Romans called:

“Living the Gospel: A Deeper Look at Romans”

The book of Romans is one of the most important books ever written. Through Paul’s letter, we learn foundational truths about God’s grace, the Christian life, the work of the Holy Spirit, spiritual growth, suffering, victory, and what it truly means to follow Christ.

Many Christians know certain verses from Romans, but few take the time to understand the bigger picture and the life-changing truths Paul was teaching to the church. Over the next four weeks, we’ll walk through key passages together and discover how Romans continues to strengthen, challenge, and equip believers today.

What does it take to effectively share your faith in today’s world?

Tonight in Week 1 of our Leadership & Discipleship Series, we learned that witnessing isn’t about having all the answers, it’s about faithfully sharing the hope we have in Christ.

We discussed what the Gospel truly is, how to share our personal testimony, overcoming fear and intimidation, and recognizing the opportunities God gives us to point others to Jesus.

Acts 1:8 reminds us that we are called to be His witnesses, empowered by the Holy Spirit.

There are seasons in life when the road gets difficult. You may feel tired, discouraged, overlooked, or even alone. But don’t give up. The same God who brought you this far is still walking beside you today.

Sometimes perseverance isn’t taking giant leaps forward—it’s simply taking one more step when you don’t feel like you can. Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting God even when you can’t see what He’s doing behind the scenes.

Remember what God’s Word says:

“Let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.” — Galatians 6:9

And:

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.” — Isaiah 41:10

Friend, your current struggle is not your final chapter. God is still working. The breakthrough may be closer than you think. Hold on to your faith, stay faithful to the Lord, and keep moving forward one day at a time.

Harbor Light family, let’s encourage one another, pray for one another, and keep pressing toward the prize. The darkest night still gives way to the morning.

Don’t quit. Don’t give up. God is not finished yet. ❤️

🇺🇸 Happy Memorial Day from Harbor Light 🇺🇸

Today we pause to remember and honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. We give thanks for their courage, sacrifice, and selfless love, and we pray for the families who carry their memory in their hearts.

As we gather with loved ones, may we also take time to reflect on the blessings of freedom and the grace of God that sustains us. Let us remember those who made these freedoms possible and lift up our nation in prayer.

From our church family, we thank all who have served and all who have sacrificed so much.
