Reminder that tomorrow is our outdoor service at the Rockland village Park starting at noon followed by potluck lunch. It is also bring your own beverage, there will be some water available. Bring your lawn chairs if you do not want to sit at a picnic table.

Hello,

I am posting to provide updates to worship services for the month of August at the Rockland UMC. The schedule is as follows:

9 Aug - 8:30 am worship service

16 Aug - 8:30 worship service
BangorFun Daz parade participation - if you have at UTV or want to possibly ride with someone in order to participate, be at the Presbyterian church by 11:00 in order to go get in line for the parade.

23 Aug - Noon - Outdoor worship service - Rockland Village Hall Park Shelter with Potluck lunch to follow.

31 Aug - 8:30 am worship service. ( this is the 5th Sunday but due to previous weeks change we changed this Sundays service time to accommodate Pastor Fran)

Hey all members, just a reminder that this Sunday, July 26th, is the last Sunday of July so we will once again be having a potluck meal following church services. Servcies are at 8:30 at the Bangor First Presbyterian Church

:*REMINDER* - Church this Sunday is the at 8:30am at Rockland UMC and it is also the last Sunday of the month; therefore, we will be having Potluck after service, estimate 9:30am. Bring your goodies and if you wish to just eat, we would still love to have you join us.

MISSION APPEAL: This is the last Sunday of June and the last day to offer a donation towards our Mission Appeal "Ingathering". Ingathering in the United Methodist Church is an annual mission event where churches collect and donate kits (such as personal dignity, home care, or school kits) to support disaster response and relief efforts, often in partnership with the Midwest Mission Distribution Center. These collections are often part of Annual Conference activities, focusing on providing humanitarian aid locally and globally.

**UPDATE**

Funeral for Jan Stacey has been set at the Rockland United Methodist Church on July 11, 2026 with visitation from Noon to 2pm and funeral at 2pm.

May 31st is the 5th Sunday and last Sunday of May. That means church is at 10:15 followed by Potluck meal. Church is still at Bangor Presbyterian.

We will be packing up our Lenten Tree full of cereal boxes to give to both the Bangor Backpack program and the Salvation Army. We don''t have a final number yet, but there are a number of them. Thank you all for your contributions to this worthwhile Lenten charitable event. We will continue our food drive at the Rockland United Methodist Church for the month of April.

Next Sunday, March 29th is the 5th Sunday of the month, which means our Church Service will start at 10:15, with a pot-luck following. We hope to see you all there!
